ब्रज मोहन सिंह का पीटीसी न्यूज़ से इस्तीफ़ा, पत्रिका टीवी की संभालेंगे कमान

पीटीसी न्यूज के साथ पिछले कुछ सालों से बतौर deputy एडिटर के तौर कम कर रहे ब्रज मोहन सिंह ने अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है. वह पीटीसी न्यूज़ के लिए दिल्ली के साथ-साथ, पंजाब और तमाम नेशनल न्यूज़ को देखते थे. इसके पहले ब्रज मोहन दैनिक भास्कर के चंडीगढ़ संस्करण के स्थानीय संपादक रह चुके हैं. 

चंडीगढ़ में रहते हुए उन्होंने एनडीटीवी के साथ भी तकरीबन आठ साल तक विशेष संवाददाता के तौर पर काम किया. गुजरात, पंजाब सहित उत्तरी भारत में राजनितिक रिपोर्टिंग का ब्रज मोहन को लम्बा अनुभव है. सूत्रों के मुताबिक ब्रज  मोहन पत्रिका ग्रुप के टेलीविज़न डिवीज़न का प्रभार सँभालने जा रहे हैं. बता दें कि पत्रिका राजस्थान सहित कई राज्यों में रीजनल चैनल की लम्बे समय से प्लानिंग कर रहा है. हाल-हाल-फिलहाल में पत्रिका ग्रुप का फोकस, टीवी और मल्टी-मीडिया की ओर ज्यादा रहा है. पत्रिका टीवी का प्रसारण जयपुर से किया जायेगा, जहाँ इसका मुख्यालय है.  

Public Profile:

Braj Mohan Singh has been a journalist for more than 17 years. He started his career with the Asian Age in Gujarat in 1998, where he covered political parties; BJP, Congress and organizations like RSS, VHP and its affiliates.

He traveled each and every part of Gujarat during his stint with the Asian Age and later on with ANI-REUTERS. He got the opportunity to cover Gujarat earthquake of 2001, Godhra train burning and communal backlash later on.

He is a post graduate in political science from Panjab university. during his stay with NDTV, between years 2002-2010, he covered politics, elections, religion and socio-economic conflicts.

His was honored for his reports on gender indiscrimination by the UN. He was also awarded fellowship of Panos South Asia, where he made films on HIV and wrote on this subject.

He wrote extensively on agriculture and health for print and tv. His articles appeared in infochangeindia; which regularly comes out with path-breaking stories on developmental issues. 

His stint as resident editor with Dainik Bhaskar; he stressed on investigative stories and stories related to agriculture.

He has been talking on social change; politics and journalism on various forums like SAFMA. He writes regularly for media column of webdunia.com.
