रांची : देश के श्रम मंत्री बंडारु दत्तात्रेय ने रांची में घोषणा की कि पत्रकारों एवं अन्य मीडिया कर्मियों के लिए मजीठिया वेतन आयोग की रिपोर्ट को पूरे देश में लागू कराया जायेगा. केंद्रीय श्रम राज्य मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) बंडारु दत्तात्रेय ने पूर्वी राज्यों के श्रम मंत्रियों, श्रम सचिवों एवं अधिकारियों के एक दिवसीय सम्मेलन के अवसर पर आयोजित संवाददाता सम्मेलन में यह घोषणा की. उन्होंने कहा कि मजीठिया वेतन आयोग की रिपोर्ट को लागू करने के संबन्ध में उच्चतम न्यायालय का भी आदेश आ चुका है एवं अब तो उसे न लागू करने वाले संस्थानों के खिलाफ न्यायालय में अवमानना का वाद भी लंबित है.
उन्होंने कहा कि अवमानना के इस वाद में सभी राज्य सरकारों एवं केंद्र सरकार को न्यायालय के समक्ष वेतन आयोग की रिपोर्ट के लागू होने के संबन्ध में हलफनामा दाखिल करना है. सम्मेलन में राज्यों को इसकी जांच कर अपने यहां रिपोर्ट तैयार करने के लिए कहा गया है. उन्होंने कहा कि इसके अलावा मजीठिया वेतन आयोग की रिपोर्ट को लागू कराने के लिए देश के सभी मुख्यमंत्रियों को उन्होंने चिट्ठी लिखी है. इतना ही नहीं, नियोक्ता मीडिया संस्थानों, कर्मचारी यूनियनों तथा सरकार की एक त्रिपक्षीय बैठक बुलाने की भी तैयारी केंद्र सरकार कर रही है जिससे वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशों को पूरी तरह लागू कराने के लिए शीघ्र आम सहमति बनायी जा सके.
Centre Will Ensure Implementation of Majithia Wage Board’
Ranchi : Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya today said the Centre will ensure full implementation of the Majithia wage board. Addressing a press conference here, the Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment (Independent Charge) said even the Supreme Court’s order has come on its implementation and he had written to all Chief Ministers to ensure its implementation in their respective states.
The Centre and the states have to file affidavits in the SC in connection with contempt petitions, he said, adding, the state governments were asked to ready their reports on status of the implementations in their states. He also said the Centre would convene a meeting among the representatives of management, unions and government to reach a consensus on its implementation.

In this regard, I sent one SMS to Mr Bandaru Dattatreya yesterday (June 27), requesting him to ensure proper calculation of Dearness Allowance under MWB recommended 167 Base and Divisor formula, as many managements are paying lesser DA to their employees by following a different formula as most of the employees are not aware of history of DA and on what basis it is arrived at, etc. Moreover, it is one common thing that unites all the workers coming under the MWB, irrespective of Category, Group, designation, etc.
