Koshi, Gandak and Sarda (Banbasa), Tanakpur dams and barrages built by Govt of India just near Nepal-India border. All these controversial dams and barrages are based on equal treaties and fully control by Indian government!!! Govt of India taking all advantage from these projects. Indian Govt. has built other controversial dam called Girijapuri barrage which is located 20 KM downstream of the Nepal-India border!! So how can Nepal release water from these dam ? nonsense news!

The regular release of water from Nepal’s Bambasa and Girijapuri dams in two days have overflowed Ghaghra, the main river of eastern Uttar Pradesh and its other tributaries. Ghaghra today was flowing about 30cm above the danger mark in Ayodhya while in Barabanki the river was 40cm up and in Gonda Ghaghra was flowing 100cm above danger mark.
The rising water of Saryu River in Ayodhya has flooded hundreds of villages, rendering about five hundred families homeless in Manjha area. In Mahsi and Qaiserganj sub divisions of Bahraich district, 150 villages have been gone under flood water.
