Guwahati: A middle aged journalist is suffering from cancer appeals for help from his colleagues. Kishore Kirat, who used to work\u00a0 for \u2018Purbanchal Prahari\u2019\u00a0 and \u2018Dainik Purvoday\u2019 was diagnosed with gland cancer\u00a0 five year back and he still fighting with the disease. Taking a break for few years, Kishore, 40,\u00a0 had almost recovered after his prolonged treatment. Six months ago,\u00a0 he took the responsibility of the editor of Nepali magazine from Guwahati.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
But he was once again diagnosed with lung cancer (Malignant tumor of non small cell carcinoma) last month\u00a0 and now he is undergoing treatment at B Barua Cancer Institute. Now he needs immediate treatment,\u00a0 but his blood count has reduced drastically and the attending doctors have advised him to take sufficient rest and also nutritious food so that he can withstand the after affect of the treatment. Meanwhile, Kishore who hails from a remote village in northern bank of Brahmaputra in central Assam, has resigned form his job (as editor of Nepali Magazine) due to his poor health status. Kishore has the determination to fight the disease and he needs some financial supports from is well wishers.<\/p>\n
