in continuation of this Ministry\u2019s Notices dated 18th January, 2010 and 28th January, 2010 placed on the website regarding suspension of receipt of applications for permissions to uplink TV channels from India and downlink TV Channels in India under Uplinking \/ Downlinking Guidelines, till further notice as the recommendations from TRAI were awaited on the issues relating to Uplinking and Downlinking Policy by the end of March, 2010. However, we are informed that it will take TRAI some more months to send us their recommendations.<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font color=\"#003366\">2. In view of this, the Ministry has reviewed its earlier decision and decided to accept fresh applications from 1st april, 2010 and process the fresh applications as well as the applications already received as per existing provisions contained in the uplinking and downlinking guidelines.<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font color=\"#003366\">3.
