Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) has been engaged as a Delivery Partner by the Press Information Bureau, New Delhi to design, set up and operationalise the \u2018Main Press Centre\u2019 and Press operations of Main Press Centre (MPC)and Venue Media Centres (VMC) for the forthcoming \u2018Commonwealth Games 2010\u2019 scheduled to be held in New Delhi. For this, BECIL requires the services of following professionals on contractual engagement basis:<\/p>\n

1. Press Manager (MPC Planning):
<\/strong>a) Qualifications:
i) MBA\/Post Graduate\/PG Diploma, preferably in Mass communication \/Media \/
Management\/Sports
ii) At least 3 -5 years of experience in management preferably experience of working
with media and knowledge of sports.
b) Functions :
i) Overall planning and execution of operations of MPC
c) Number of Posts : 5 ( 1 immediately )
d) Consolidated Fee: Rs. One lakh per month.<\/p>\n

2. Photo Manager (MPC) :
<\/strong>a) Qualifications:
i) Graduation with\/Technical qualification preferably in photo\/Diploma in
photography\/experience of 3 years in Photo Journalism
ii) Experience of covering sports events preferred.
b) Functions :
i) Overall Management of photo press at MPC, coordination with other functional areas.
c) Number of Posts : 4
d) Consolidated Fee: Rs. Seventy five thousand per month.<\/p>\n

3. Press Conference Manager:
<\/strong>a) Qualifications:
i) MBA\/Post Graduate\/PG Diploma, preferably in Mass communication\/Media\/
Management\/Event Management\/Sports.
i) 2-3 years experience preferably in Event Management\/Media Management\/Sports
Management\/ Press Conferences
b) Functions :
i) Organizing press conferences.
c) Number of Posts : 6
d) Consolidated Fee: Rs. Seventy five thousand per month.<\/p>\n

4. Venue Cluster Manager:
<\/strong>a) Qualifications:
i) MBA\/Post Graduate\/PG Diploma, preferably in Mass Communication\/Media\/
Management\/Event Management \/Sports.
ii) At least 2-3 years of experience in managerial capacity preferably in Media
organization.
b) Functions :
i) Responsible for overall supervision of the operations of assigned cluster of venue and
management of venue press team, coordination of staff and operation within VMC.
c) Number of Posts : 10 (1 immediately)
d) Consolidated Fee: Rs. Seventy thousand per month.<\/p>\n

5. Press Release Supervisor :
<\/strong>a) Qualifications:
i) Post Graduate\/PG Diploma, preferably in Mass communication\/Media
\/Management\/Journalism.
ii) 1-2 year experience preferably in Journalism\/Creative Writing\/Editorial.
b) Functions :
i) Preparing and releasing press releases. consistent with the media policy and protocol.
c) Number of Posts : 18
d) Consolidated Fee: Rs. Fifty thousand per month.<\/p>\n

6. Desk Manager:
<\/strong>a) Qualifications:
i) MBA\/Post Graduate\/PG Diploma, preferably in Mass communication \/Media
Management\/ Hospitality Management\/ Event Management.
ii) At least One year experience preferably in Event Management \/ Protocol\/
Hospitality\/Managing Front offices\/exhibitions.
b) Functions :
ii) Assisting the Press Manager\/Photo Manager and management of specialized
information & help desks.
c) Number of Posts : 20
d) Consolidated Fee: Rs. Forty thousand per month.<\/p>\n

7. Venue Media Manager:
<\/strong>a) Qualifications:
i) MBA\/Post Graduate\/PG Diploma, preferably in Mass communication\/Media\/
Management\/Sports.

b) Functions :
i) Assisting the Press Manager on all aspects of operations

11. Mixed Zone Supervisors:
<\/strong>a) Qualifications:
i) MBA\/Post Graduate\/PG Diploma in Mass Communication\/Media\/Management\/Event

ii) One year experience preferably in Event Management\/Sports Management\/
Exhibitions Management\/Media Management.
b) Functions :
i) Arranging after event interaction of media persons with athletes.
c) Number of Posts : 36 (1 immediately)

12. Tribune Supervisors:
<\/strong>a) Qualifications:
i) MBA\/Post Graduate\/PG Diploma in Mass Communication\/Media\/Management\/Event

b) Functions :
i) Management of press tribunes, placement and labeling of positions of rate card items
and delivery of printed start list and results to journalist
c) Number of Posts : 36 (1 immediately)

13. Photo Supervisors:
<\/strong>a) Qualifications:
i) Graduation with\/Technical qualification preferably in Photo\/Diploma in

i) To work with photo manager in management of photo positions and venue services
for photographers
c) Number of Posts : 16 (2 immediately)

14. Press Conference Supervisors:
<\/strong>a) Qualifications:
i) MBA\/Post Graduate\/PG Diploma in Mass Communication\/Media\/Management\/Event
Management.
ii) 1-2 Experience preferably in Event Management\/Media Management\/Sports
Management\/Press Conferences.
b) Functions :
i) Organizing & managing press conferences.
c) Number of Posts : 36 (1 immediately)
d) Consolidated Fee: Rs. Forty thousand per month.<\/p>\n

Past experience of management of media\/international sports events and interaction with electronic media channels will be preferred. The educational\/professional qualifications and experience requirements shall be relaxable in case of candidates found otherwise suitable.<\/p>\n
