The reporter, AmitPanvar (29), was caught red-handed while accepting the sum. Police said Panvar and his editor, NityanandPandey, 40, had filed complaints against the hotelier, Rahat Khan, for running illegal activities.<\/p>\n<p> \tKhan&#39;s hotel is based at Devipada in Borivali East. The two scribes first demanded a large sum of money from Khan and eventually settled at Rs 1 lakh. Khan had recorded their conversation and submitted it to the police. The accused-duo will be produced before a local court on Tuesday. Officials from the Kasturba Marg police station said the magazine had been running for the past five years.
