\tDear Sir\/Ma’am, I am delighted to inform you that I have written a book called “The Prime Minister: Discourses in Indian Polity” in the backdrop of evolution of Political system and the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) in India. The canvas of the book ranges from the debates of the Constituent Assembly to debates in India's present day Parliament to several contemporary issues involving governance of the Indian state.<\/p>\n
\tAs you can very well imagine it’s a high quality research work done on the Indian polity. The book is divided into five chapters; a comprehensive analysis of political thoughts and contemporary issues which the Indian political system are facing. I have also examined the debate over the suitability of Presidential and Prime Ministerial form of government given India's complexities such as diversity, ethnicity, size and scale.<\/p>\n
\tI would like to also take this opportunity to mention that Shri Sushil Kumar Shinde, Hon'ble Minister of Home Affairs, Mr.Shivraj Patil, Hon’ble Governor, Punjab, Mr.Ravi Shankar Prasad, Deputy Leader of Opposition, Rajya Sabha, and Prof.Dinesh Singh, Vice Chancellor, Delhi University have generously agreed to be a part of this book launch ceremony on the 11th of March 2014.
