Short Film on AIDS Awareness Released.

New Delhi :- International short Film on the global issue AIDS Awareness ‘LOST IN LOVE’ by Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable Trust released at Nehru Auditorium New Delhi today. Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable Trust produced this short film on “AIDS AWARNESS. The film is Co – produced by Sanjeev Gupta and written & directed by Rajeev Walia. On the occasion noted film maker Subhash Ghai, Advertising Film Maker Prahlad Kakkar, , Minister of state for social justice & employment Shri Vijay Sampla were present. The Short Film was made with the aim of creating awareness about Hiv/Aids among this generation. The main aim of the event was to create awareness about HIV/AIDS, giving accurate and reliable information on the menace, clearing existing myths and misconceptions and providing practical skills that can be implemented at the individual’s level so as to lead to behaviour changes that minimise the risk of HIV infection.

Film Director, Subhash Ghai spoke on growing sensitivity among people to AIDS and contribution of films towards sensitising people and said that “this short movie reflects the social stigma and discrimination against persons living with HIV/AIDS. There are more than five-million individuals living with HIV/AIDS in India today filmmakers have a major role to sensitise the society to the need for social acceptance of such people.”

Describing the discrimination against persons living with HIV/AIDS  Film maker and devotee of Shree Radhe Guru Maa and Director of this short film Raajeev Walia said, “. A person suffering from AIDS is unfortunately often regarded as a stigma in our society and such people often become victims of ostracism, rejection and discrimination.. During the event Shri Radhe Guru Ma Charitable Trust workers give detailed information about the symptoms of  Hiv/Aids, the curing process and on how they can protect themselves from sexually transmitted disease. Both Sanjeev Gupta and Raajeev Walia with their Guru Maa Shree Radhe Guru Maa blessing will be making more short films based on their Guru Maa preaching on social issues for the welfare of the society at regular intervals.
Addressing the event, the MD of Global Advertising and ardent devotee of Shri Radhe Guru said “Seva to begins is not to be done solely for the welfare of others, it is to be done so we become stronger in our spiritual practice, and become more human. In helping others, we are helping ourselves. Shri Sanjeev Gupta also said “People suffering from AIDS need to be loved and cared for as they are passing through a tough period in their lives”. There are many myths and misinformation surrounding HIV and it is very important to have proper information about it.”
