Legendary ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh has conferred his mellifluous voice to the title track of \u201cGandhi \u2013A Journey of Mahatma\u201d on June 21, 2011 at Kailasha recording studio, Andheri-(W), Mumbai. The title song \u201cRaghupati Raghav Raja Ram\u2026\u2019\u2019 is none other than one of the famous bhajans of Mahatma Gandhi, said Rabi Dey\u00a0 music director of the mega serial.<\/p>\n
After singing the title song, the ace ghazal king (Jagjit Singhji) was so happy and overwhelmed over the historical subject that he refused to accept any fee for his rendition\u2026 and may be\u2026 by way of doing so he paid his tribute and due respect to M. K. Gandhi \u2013the visionary and revolutionary of 20th century of India.<\/p>\n
Being directed by Ashwini Sharma, \u201cGandhi \u2013 A Journey of Mahatma\u201d is outcome of 15 years\u2019 extensive & rigorous research conducted by Dr. Rajendra Upadhyay and Ashwini Sharma. \u201cGandhi \u2013A Journey of Mahatma\u201d a mega tele series is being produced by Pancham Singh under the banner of\u00a0 \u201cIndian Cinephile production\u201d and presented by K.
