यादव सिंह मामले में इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट की लखनऊ बेंच में सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता डॉ नूतन ठाकुर द्वारा दायर पीआईएल में आज राज्य सरकार ने प्रमुख सचिव, अवस्थापना और औद्योगिक विकास महेश कुमार गुप्ता द्वारा उदय सिंह कुमावत, संयुक्त सचिव, वित्त मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार को भेजे पत्र दिनांक 06 अप्रैल 2015 की प्रति प्रस्तुत की.
पत्र में कहा गया था कि राज्य सरकार ने 10 फ़रवरी 2015 को एक-सदस्यीय अमर नाथ वर्मा जाँच कमीशन बना दिया है जिसने अपनी जांच शुरू कर दी है. सरकार ने कहा कि इस मामले में अगली कार्यवाही हाई कोर्ट के आदेश अथवा जाँच कमीशन की आख्या की संस्तुति के आधार पर किया जाएगा.
राज्य सरकार की ओर विजय बहादुर सिंह उपस्थित हुए जबकि डॉ ठाकुर ने इस मामले में राज्य सरकार द्वारा सीबीआई जाँच में देरी पर आपत्ति की.
चीफ जस्टिस डॉ डी वाई चंद्रचूड और जस्टिस एस एन शुक्ला की बेंच ने कहा कि सभी जवाब आ गए हैं, अतः अंतिम सुनवाई करते हुए सीबीआई जाँच के सम्बन्ध में 14 जुलाई को फैसला लिया जाएगा.

In the PIL filed by social activist Dr Nutan Thakur in the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court in Yadav Singh scam, the State government today presented the letter dated 06 April 2015 sent by it through Principal Secretary Industrial Development Mahesh Kumar Gupta to Udai Singh Kumawat, Joint Secretary, Finance Ministry, Government of India.
The letter says that one-member Justice Amar Nath Verma Commission has already been formed by it on 10 February 2015 which has started its work. It also said that further action shall be taken in this matter as per the directions of the High Court or the recommendations made by this Enquiry Commission in its report.
Advocate General Vijay Bahadur Singh appeared for the State government while Dr Thakur opposed this delaying tactic of the State government in initiating CBI enquiry.
The bench of Chief Justice Dr D Y Chandrachud and Justice S N Shukla said that now that the pleadings are complete, the matter about handing over the enquiry to CBI shall be shall be heard finally on 14 July.
