Subject : Humiliation, mental torture, threatening and illegal termination of my job.
Respected Sir,
I am an employee of I Next (Jagran Prakashan Limited). I have joined the organization in October 2008 as Chief Visualiser. In 2012 I was promoted as Art Director. During my tenure I have worked for various verticasl of Jagran Prakashan Limited, like Jagaran Coffee Table Book, Jagran Josh, City Plus, redesign the newspaper, conduct workshop etc.
In Feb 2014 honorable Supreme Court has asked all media house to implement the recommendation of Majithia Wage Board and to pay its arrear that has been accrued from November 2011 in four equal installments during the current financial year of 2014-15. But management is not willing to give the benefit of wage board recommendation to employees. Since wage board recommendations are applicable to the print media only, organisation has changed department of editorial colleague and shifted them to the web portal. Even in some cases joining date has been reduced to 11 months earlier to avoid the arrear.
Employees are afraid of the power of media house owner, administrative influence, money power, political connection and goons’ as well. They are scared to raise their voice under the threat of losing their job and life.
I am protesting this unprofessional and unethical move of organisation from very beginning. In retaliation organisation has changed my department from Editorial to Production (DTP) and my designation is demoted from Art Director to Chief Graphic Designer. When I protest this undue move or management, organisation has threatened to destroy me and to face the dire consequences. At last organisation has forced to sign the relieving letter, which I denied. Despite this organisation has terminated my services.
This is a great blow to my career and dignity. Apart from this future of my children are on stake. My daughter is pursuing a professional course from Pune and my son is studying in graduation course and both are financially depend on me.
Since I don’t have other source of income, I can’t pay house rent and would have to vacate it.
This is not just humiliating, but the defamation of honorable Supreme Courte also.
You are requested to look into the matter, please save me from the exploitation of the organisation.

मीडिया में शीर्ष पदों पर काबिज लोग झूठ बोलकर किस कदर आम मीडियाकर्मियों का उत्पीड़न करते हैं, चीटिंग करते हैं, धोखा देते हैं, इसके बारे में जानना हो तो सुशील राणा के हाल-बेहाल को जानिए. सुशील राणा एक दफे दैनिक जागरण में काम कर चुके थे लेकिन जब उनको एडिटोरियल से हटाकर प्रोडक्शन में किया गया तो उन्होंने इस्तीफा दे दिया. दुबारा उन्हें जब आई-नेक्स्ट में ज्वाइन कराया जा रहा था तो सुशील राणा ने कहा कि वे डिजायनिंग और आर्ट से जुड़े व्यक्ति हैं जिसका विभाग संपादकीय होता है, न कि प्रोडक्शन, इसलिए वह इसी शर्त पर आएंगे कि उन्हें संपादकीय में रखा जाए और पिछली बार की तरह प्रोडक्शन में न धकेला जाए.
आई-नेक्स्ट के सीईओ आलोक सांवल ने सुशील राणा से कहा कि वे आई-नेक्स्ट के सर्वेसर्वा हैं और उनके इशारे के बगैर यहां पत्ता भी नहीं खड़कता, इसलिए वो उनकी बातों पर आंख मूंदकर भरोसा करें और आई-नेक्स्ट में ज्वाइन करें. सुशील राणा ने बड़े पद पर काबिज व्यक्ति की बातों पर भरोसा किया और आई-नेक्स्ट में बतौर आर्ट डायरेक्टर सुशील राणाज्वाइन किया. पांच बरस बीत गए. उनसे आई-नेक्स्ट के अलावा जागरण समूह के अन्य मैग्जीनों, विशेषांकों, अखबारों के लिए काम लिया जाने लगा.
सुशील राणापिछले दिनों अचानक सुशील राणा को फिर से संपादकीय से हटाकर प्रोडक्शन में डाल दिया गया. यह काम आलोक सांवल के इशारे पर आई-नेक्स्ट, कानपुर के जनरल मैनेजर पंकज पांडेय ने किया. सुशील राणा ने मेल भेज भेज कर आलोक सांवल को बताया कि उनके साथ अन्याय हो रहा है, पिछली बार की तरह फिर उनका विभाग बदला जा रहा है. लेकिन आलोक सांवल के कान पर जूं तक नहीं रेंगी और उन्होंने इसे प्रबंधन का फैसला बताकर खुद को किनारे कर लिया. सूत्र बताते हैं कि जागरण प्रबंधन मजीठिया न देने के अपने घटिया इरादे के कारण ढेर सारे जागरण कर्मियों का डिपार्टमेंट बदल चुका है. इसी के तहत सुशील राणा को भी नए विभाग में डाल दिया गया और उनका पद आर्ट डायरेक्टर से घटाकर ग्राफिक डिजायनर कर दिया गया.
सूत्रों का कहना है कि इस पूरे प्रकरण में सबसे खराब भूमिका आलोक सांवल की रही. कहने को तो वो कहते हैं कि वे आई-नेक्स्ट के सर्वेसर्वा हैं और जो वादा कर देते हैं, उसे जरूर पूरा करते हैं. पर इस एक घटनाक्रम से साबित हो गया है कि आई-नेक्स्ट में आलोक सांवल की भूमिका नेता की नहीं बल्कि नौकर की है. जागरण प्रबंधन उन्हें जैसा कहता है, वे वैसा करते हैं. मीठे मीठे शब्दों में झूठ बोलने में माहिल ये शख्स न तो संपादकीय में कार्यरत रहा है और न ही कभी प्रबंधन का हिस्सा रहा है. ब्रांडिंग डिपार्टमेंट से करियर शुरू करने वाला आलोक सांवल केवल एक चीज अच्छे से जानता है, वह है मालिकों की जी-हुजूरी. इसी दम पर आलोक सांवल जागरण के मालिकों का प्रिय पात्र बनकर आम मीडियाकर्मियों के जीवन और करियर से खिलवाड़ करता रहता है. यही कारण है कि आई-नेक्स्ट में इन दिनों पर कही असंतोष और कुंठा का माहौल है.

दैनिक जागरण आजकल बेखोप और मदमस्त हाथी है ,लेकिन इस हाथी को कोई चींटी नहीं नहीं मिली है
