    Dear Sir,
In the above news reported that…..
Rajiv C. Lochan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of KSL, said that the “We are the only company that implemented the Majithia Wage Board fully in letter and spirit.
But there are some confusion in implementation of the Majithia Wage Board, such fixation/fitment, service increments, annual increment, DA calculation. The Hindu Calculating the DA on the base of 189 points instead of 167 points as recommended and notified by the Govt of India. 73)
In view of our conclusion and dismissal of all the writ
petitions, the wages as revised/determined shall be payable from 11.11.2011 when the Government of India notified the recommendations of the Majithia Wage Boards. All the arrears up to March, 2014 shall be paid to all eligible persons in four equal instalments within a period of one year from today and continue to pay the revised wages from April, 2014 onwards.
It is clear that wages revised from 1-7-2010 and from 11-11-2011., But the management including The Hindu paying DA as per INS or its wrong way due to this employees getting less DA for the 22 points means Rs 2000/- to Rs 3000/- and above.
So how they claiming that they implemented the Wage Board by fully.

    Dear Mr Kashinath,

THE HINDU is not giving DA as Notified in the Gazette. It is giving DA under 189 BASE and DIVISOR formula which is totally wrong. DA should be paid under 167 BASE and DIVISOR formula only as recommended by the MWB, notified in the Gazette and upheld by the Supreme Court.

Apart from DA, a section of staff are highly dissatisfied with the management as they are denied MWB recommended salary under the interpretation that they are coming under ADMIN category.
