: Written below is a statement in response to Home Minister P. Chidambram’s statement on 1984 : Before making such statement he should give advise to Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi to dismiss Sajjan Kumar and Jagdeesh Tytler from primary membership of Congress party. Only then Sikhs would assume he is serious enough to speak on this issue.
-Before making this kind of statements he should accept publicly that Govt. of India and Congress party failed to give justice to the victims of 1984 and would not be in a position to deliver justice.
-Do he is going to give same advise to Muslim community about what happened in Gujarat in 2002. I can see a very very dangerous trend in this statement. Would he ask Christians to forget Anti Christians violence of Orissa?
-As a Home Minister he should have courage to say CBI and investigation agencies failed to investigate the cases and deliberately showed negligence towards this massacre.
-Sikhs are not against any community but against this kind of discrimination. We are demanding Justice and if they can not deliver than should accept their failure.
-Instead of reopening more cases against the culprits he is asking Sikhs to forget. which is not acceptable. When it has been proved in court of law that Delhi police was involved in massacre of 1984 than why all cases should not be reopen and handover them to some other investigation agency. If all the gujarat cases can transfer to maharashtra, why same can not be done here.
