: Compliant against religious Sentiments Hurt by Deepak Chaurasia (Editor-in-chief, India News TV Channel) and others : After the false & baseless rape allegation on H.H. Sant Shri Asaram Ji Bapu, Deepak Chaurasia of India News TV Channel had started a campaign to defame H.H. Sant Shri Asaram Ji Bapu. It included publishing news/programs having titles such as ‘Gang of Asaram’ etc. No such allegations were ever made by the police against H.H. Sant Shri Asaram Ji Bapu.
This was perceived as a deliberate attempt by Mr. Deepak Chaurasia and others for their own sinister and selfish criminal intentions to malign the image of H.H. Sant Shri Asaram Ji Bapu in the eyes of general public in India and overseas and to insult and outrage the religious beliefs and feelings of his disciples. This is not new to the Deepak Chaurasia and his company where paid or one sided news is a routine.
Therefore Mr. Dilip Kumar of Patna city whose religious feelings were also hurt approached Patna city court on 19th May 2014 to complaint against Deepak Chaurasia and other offenders including the owners and directors of India TV News channel. The Patna City Court heard the matter and issued summon on 15th May 2015 against all the accused including Deepak Chaurasia, owners and directors of India TV News channel under section 298 and 508 of Indian penal code.
