‘Prastuti 2012’ held at JIMS

This year, the theme for the competition was“Innovations for sustainable development in the Digital Age”.

This year, the theme for the competition was“Innovations for sustainable development in the Digital Age”.

This annual presentation contest was organised by Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) Group of Institutions, an institute of excellence in the field of management studies and technical education. The contest provided a platform for the students to inculcate a culture of research and development and to showcase their presentation skills. The competition was open for all undergraduate students from various colleges and educational institutes all over India.

The contest was held in two different categories: presentations designed to illustrate and explain a concept, theory, or research discovery; and presentations that highlight an application of IT and/ or Management Concept. Dr. B. P. Joshi, Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and Dr. Nitin Malik, Deputy Registrar, GGSIPU were the chief guest for the occasion.

Out of 15 participants….(winner details – name of the student and college name) got the first position and received the cash prizes worth INR 5,000 and memento. A cash prize worth INR 3,000 was awarded to ………who won the second prize along with a memento, where as ……..at third position received an amount of INR 2,000 and memento.

Dr. J.K. Goyal, Director, JIMS congratulated all winners and said, “We are very proud to organize this national presentation contest. In the past decade, ‘Research’ as a field has got a boost with the advancement in Information technology. New innovations accompanied by new development method can bring favorable changes to our society. It can collectively lead to sustainable growth.”

“By holding such contest we aim to nourish the talent in our students for the betterment of humanity. We are very happy to see that our young generation is sensitized towards social issues and today they present their thoughts in a lucid manner,” he added. प्रेस रिलीज
