पीजीआई थानक्षेत्र स्थित गाँधीग्राम मजरा बरौली, खलीलाबाद में वनवासी नट जाति के लोगों के मकानों को अचानक बिना पूर्व नोटिस के गिरा देने के मामले में लखनऊ वन विभाग का भयानक जातिवादी चेहरा सामने आया है. सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता डॉ नूतन ठाकुर द्वारा उपलब्ध कराये गए एसएसपी लखनऊ को डीएफओ अवध वन प्रभाग एस सी यादव के पत्र के अनुसार ये लोग “कंजड जाति के अपराधी प्रवृत्ति” के लोग हैं जो अपनी महिलाओं को आगे करके झुण्ड बना कर अभद्र भाषा का प्रयोग करते हैं और अपराध नियंत्रण के समय किसी भी अप्रिय घटना को अंजाम दे सकते हैं. इस पत्र में इनके पीछे “बाहरी एजेंसियों” का हाथ होने तक की बात कही गयी है.
डॉ ठाकुर का कहना है कि एक तो वन विभाग, पुलिस और जिला प्रशासन ने 23 मई 2015 को लगभग 60 सालों से रह रहे इन लोगों के घर बिना नोटिस दिए जला और गिरा दिए, ऊपर से इन बेहद गरीब लोगों के लिए इतने असम्मानजनक भाषा का प्रयोग कर प्रशासन का विद्रूप चेहरा दिखाया है.
उन्होंने कहा कि जिन गरीब लोगों को 1973 से आवासीय पट्टा मिला हो और उन में कई पर इंदिरा आवास बने हों, इनके वोटर कार्ड, राशन कार्ड, आधार कार्ड सहित सभी सरकारी दस्तावेज़ बने हों, उनके घर अचानक गिराना और उलटे उन्हें दोषी ठहराना पूर्णतया आपराधिक कृत्य है. आज फिर मौके पर जाने के बाद उन्होंने कहा कि बिना नोटिस के लम्बे समय से रह रहे लोगों को बेघर करना संविधान के अनुच्छेद 21 का सीधा उल्लंघन है, अतः यह मामला कोर्ट ले जाया जाएगा.
“Foreign hand” in poors opposing demolition of their houses
The abjectly casteist face of Lucknow forest department has come in the case related with demolition of 38 houses of Vanvasi Nat people in Gandhigram Majara Barauli, Khalilabad in PGI police station area in Lucknow. As per the letter by S C Yadav, DFO Awadh forest division to SSP Lucknow, made available by social activist Dr Nutan Thakur, these people are “criminal people of Kanjad caste” who use their women as fence to hurl abusive language and can commit any serious criminal act. The letter also talks of “foreign hand” in this matter.
As per Dr Thakur, while the forest department with help of district and police administration, burnt and demolished houses of these poor people living for last 60 years, on 23 may 2015, the use of such contemptible language for these poor people fighting for their houses, shows the inhuman face of district administration.
She said demolishing houses of these poor people who were given Patta in 1973 with many allotted Indira Aawas, having voter card, Ration card, Aadhar card etc on these addresses is a criminal act. After visiting the place today once again, she said these demolitions are against Article 21 of constitution and the matter shall be taken to the Court.
