Raipur: Responding to a report published in The Sunday Express, MP Etv channel head Jagdish Chandra has said that this is not a case of paid news but of asking an adequate and separate budget provision for electronic media on the lines of print media.
In a press statement he also clarified that it wasn’t a blackmail either, as the advertisement issue was not linked with the blackout of the channel and it had erupted only recently with the telecast of a report against the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister, while the advertisement controversy was over in September.
