: Cartoons Against Corruption- Website of cartoonist Aseem has been banned by Crime Branch Mumbai : Dear sir, Aseem trivedi, a Kanpur based Cartoonist is facing deep troubles because of the dirty politics which is being played by some politicians and advocates. They are expressing their rage against the cartoons without interrogating to the artist about his objective which are absolutely patriotic. He has used cartoons as a medium to express the current situation of the country and according to Article 19(A) an artist has all the rights to express his art.
RJD MP Ram Kripal Yadav has raised it as an issue of National disrespect in Rajya Sabha. He has claimed that Aseem has insulted the parliament which is mere a prejudice. We need to look to the objective and not the methodology. Aseem is an artist and his intentions are not wrong.
An advocate from Mumbai has filed a police complaint and thus the website of cartoonist cartoonsagainstcorruption.com has been banned by Crime Branch Mumbai. Now cartoons are available on his blog www.cartoonsagainstcorruption.blogspot.com. The ban on cartoonist Aseem's cartoons could not be suspended yet. Please have a look and help this cartoonist.
