: Abhishek Upadhyay : Today was the date of my case in Patiala court. Abhishek Upadhyay vs. Press Club of India. (I am fighting against my illegal expulsion from Press Club for raising the issue of transparency in the new membership list of the Press Club.) It was the day of Poetic justice today! Witnessed very very literary session in court proceedings! From British Philosopher Bertrand Russel to revolutionary poet Paash to Galib, Zauk and Iqbal, all came in the discussion.
I raised question over the bona fide of some managing committee members and the entire process of making minutes of the management committee meeting. Brought to the notice of the honorable court, that Press Club of India management prepares hand written minutes of the meeting and that too at a later stage and names of member have been added as per convenience without their consent. Gave proof of this very faulty practice. On the other hand Press Club Management, represented by 7 person today, comprising past and present management committee members of a particular group, pleaded to dismiss my petition as I am the only one who has been raising objections! Arguments go on. Next date of the case is 7th May.
