25 बिलियन वाले मीडिया इंपायर के मालिक राघव बहल के एक मजबूत स्तंभ ने उनका साथ छोड़ दिया. नेटवर्क18 के ग्रुप सीईओ हरेश ने इस्तीफा दे दिया है. हरेश चावला दशक भर से ज्यादा समय से कंपनी के साथ थे. वे उस जमाने से राघव बहल के साथ थे जब चैनल के नाम पर सिर्फ सीएनबीसी-टीवी18 हुआ करता था. चावला के नेतृत्व में ही कंपनी हर तरफ बड़े पैमाने पर विस्तार किया. चावला ने भले इस्तीफा दे दिया हो लेकिन वे कंपनी से पूरी तरह अभी अलग नहीं होंगे. वे नए लोगों को पूरा काम समझाकर ही अलग होंगे. यह पता नहीं चल पाया है कि हरेश चावला नया क्या करने वाले हैं.
चावला के इस्तीफे के बारे में राघव बहल कहते हैं- ''Over the next few months, Chawla will work closely with me and this young crop of leaders to ensure a seamless transition of leadership. His can-do spirit is irretrievably woven into Network18's DNA.''
उधर राघव बहल और नेटवर्क18 की अपनी पारी के बारे में हरेश चावला कहते हैं- ''It's very rare for a professional to play a part in setting up so many businesses in a lifetime.
