इंडिया न्यूज और आज समाज में शीर्ष स्तर पर जिम्मेदारियों में बदलाव, मेल जारी

एक दिसंबर से इंडिया न्यूज चैनल और आज समाज अखबार में कामकाज में विभाजन कर दिया गया है. इस दिन से रवीन ठुकराल इस समूह के हिस्से नहीं रहेंगे. वे द ट्रिब्यून ज्वाइन करेंगे. तब इंडिया न्यूज चैनल और आज समाज अखबार में काम कौन देखेगा, इस बाबत एक विस्तृत आंतरिक मेल जारी कर दिया गया है.

इस मेल की खास बात है को राहुल देव का कहीं कोई नामोनिशान तक नहीं है. आज समाज अखबार के कार्यविभाजन में भी राहुल देव का नाम नहीं है. इससे इस कयास को बल मिलता है कि राहुल देव की प्रत्यक्ष तौर पर अब कोई भूमिका इस समूह में नहीं रह गई है. वे सिर्फ मालिकों की दया पर एक एक दिन गिन रहे हैं. नए बदलाव में कार्तिक शर्मा, जिनकी शादी अभी हाल में ही हुई, को चैनल व अखबार की कमान सीधे तौर पर दे दी गई है. चैनल में तीन चार लोग मिलकर अलग अलग फ्रंट पर काम देखेंगे और सीधे एमडी कार्तिक शर्मा को रिपोर्ट करेंगे. उसी तरह अखबार में तीन चार लोगों को महत्वपूर्ण जिम्मेदारी दी गई है. पूरी मेल इस तरह है–

URGENT : Work Flow for ITV and Aaj Samaj (Ambala and Hissar) : w.e.f Dec 1, 2011 : In the absence of Mr Raveen Thukral Editor in Chief, all channel heads –Mr Ram (Rajasthan); Mr Israar (Haryana) and; Mr Rohit (Bihar) – will report directly to the MD. All mails for approval will be sent to new mail ids – [email protected]  and [email protected].

The channel heads will be directly responsible for the working and performance of their individual channels and their respective staff would be reporting to them for all administrative matters including leave. Long leave will have to be recommended to the MD (at above ids) for approval. The channel heads, in consultation with the MD, will decide the day-to-day important coverage and seek advise/approvals on the above-mentioned mail ids.

For proper co-ordination and accountability, it’s necessary that the senior staffs stick to the responsibilities assigned to them and do not interfere in the affairs of the other channels/functionaries. All regional channels must finalise their evening Prime Time topics by 3 PM and a mail for the same has to be sent to the MD at the above-mentioned ids.

India News National

The working of India News National will be co-ordinated by a committee of four people – Dharmender Tripathi and the three channel heads, Ram, Rohit and Israar. Editor News Rajiv Ranjan Nag will be involved in deciding the topics for IPT discussion and the political coverage of the Delhi reporting and bureau teams. Entertainment would be looked after by Israar. National Assignment will report to Ram. National Output will be reporting to Dharmender Tripathi.

Conduct of morning and Evening Editorial Meetings

All channel heads; assignment heads of individual channels, Editor News and representatives from output, sports, crime and entertainment must ensure their presence at the morning and evening editorial meetings. The committee members will discuss important stories finalised for the day with MD and the topics for IPT discussions will be also finalised in a similar manner. The time for morning meetings will be 10 AM and it must commence under any circumstances by 10.15 am. The evening meeting will be held by 3.30 PM.

Programming

Programming department will coordinate their working with the editorial committee of the national. Mithelesh, who is presently looking after the working of the programming department, will continue to do so in consultations with the editorial committee.

Promos

For day-to-day functioning, the promo department will coordinate with the respective channel heads and national editorial committee.

Recruitment Panels

The standard procedure for recruitment will be a test (for all junior and middle level appointments) followed by a panel interview and then the final decision in consultations with the MD

A panel of four people – Dharmender Tripathi, Israar, Rohit and Ram- will conduct output recruitments.

A panel of five people – Dharmender, Ram, Jyoti, Rohit and Israr- will conduct assignment recruitments.

A panel of four people – Ram, Dharmnder, Rajiv Nag and Rohit – will conduct reporters recruitment.

A panel of four people – Rohit, Shilpa, Dharmender and Ram

Recruitment of interns – all approvals for interns will be obtained on mail from edit.mdoffice. HR will not entertain any recruitment of interns without the approval.

These panels will be reconstituted after three months.

Aaj Samaj (Ambala and Hissar)

Similarly wef Dec 1, 2011, Chandigarh’s Haryana and Punjab bureaus, including Political Editor, will report to Sr. Assocaite Editor, Sanjiv Shukla, for all editorial and administrative (including leave) affairs. Sanjiv Shukla will be reporting directly to the MD. All communication, including PDFs of all page 1 for approval, have to be sent to the mail ids – [email protected] and [email protected] The units will continue to function independently of the Delhi edition.

Content Editor, Deputy News Editor and all Chief subs, will report to Sanjiv Shukla.

Executive Editor, Ajay Shukla, will continue to coordinate the functioning of Chandigarh Aaj samaj staff and will be the link for all editorial matters between Chandigarh office and Ambala. He will also report directly to the MD on mail ids [email protected] and [email protected]..

Rajshekhar Mishra will continue to handle the weekly pull-outs in consultation with Sanjiv Shukla and Ajay Shukla. He will also continue to assit Sanjiv Shukla on any matter concerning the desk and editing.

Chander Sharma – will continue to send daily review on the above mentioned IDs and will report to Sanjiv Shukla.

Recruitments

Desk Recruitments- Panel will comprise of Sanjiv Shukla, Ashutosh and Rajshekhar.

Reporters Recruitment (for all editions under Ambala and Chd)– Sanjiv Shukla, Ajay Shukla and Sanjay Tyagi.
