अरुप घोष के नेतृत्व में संचालित हो रहे एनएनआईएस न्यूज एजेंसी की आर्थिक स्थिति डांवाडोल है. इस एजेंसी से सैकड़ों रिपोर्टरों का पैसा अब तक चुकता नहीं किया है. इस एजेंसी के दर्जनों रिपोर्टर अपनी मेहनत का पैसा पाने के लिए परेशान हैं. इसको लेकर एजेंसी के पत्रकार 11 मई को धरना देने की तैयारी भी कर रहे हैं. इसके पहले एनएनआईएस एजेंसी प्रबंधन ने एक संवाददाता दिलीप कुमार राव के पैसे भी हड़पने की कोशिश की.
एजेंसी के इस कुत्सित प्रयास के बारे में दिलीप कुमार राव ने भड़ास को पत्र भेजा, जिसे 19 फरवरी को प्रकाशित किया गया. पहले प्रबंधन का कहना था कि दिलीप राव का कोई पैसा बकाया नहीं है लेकिन खबर प्रकाशित होने के बाद दिलीप राव को बीस हजार रुपये का चेक दिया गया. दिलीप का कहना है कि इस पैसे तथा बकाया भुगतान करने के एवज में इन लोगों में मुझसे एपोलॉजी लिखवाया. यह एपोलॉजी 25 मार्च को लिखवाया गया. इसके बाद एजेंसी की तरफ से भड़ास को इसी खबर को लेकर नोटिस भेजी गई है.
वैसे एनएनआईएस की हालत बुरी है. गुरुवार को भी भड़ास पर एनएनआईएस के संवाददाताओं के बकाए को लेकर दो खबरें प्रकाशित हुई हैं. माना जा रहा है कि एनएनआईएस का सच हम लोग आगे से न लिखें इस तरह का दबाव बनाने के लिए यह लीगल नोटिस भिजवाया गया है. इसके बावजूद भड़ास पर एनएनआईएस के संवाददाताओं के पैसे मिलने तक उनके हितों की खबरें प्रकाशित होती रहेंगी. यह खबरें किसी द्वेषवश नहीं बल्कि मीडिया के नाम पर युवाओं का शोषण करने वाले संस्थानों को एक्सपोज करने के लिए, बार-बार, लगातार प्रकाशित की जाती रहेंगी. नीचे एनएनआईएस की तरफ से भेजी गई लीगल नोटिस…

SUBJECT: LEGAL NOTICE FOR DEFAMATION AND SLANDER
Dear. Mr. Singh,
I write under instructions from, and on behalf of, my Client, N1 Media Consultancy Pvt Ltd (hereinafter referred to as ‘My Client’), having their office at C-16, Sector 6 Noida-201301, India. I have been instructed by my client to serve upon you this legal notice for publishing defamatory article against the Company on 19.02.2013 inter alia maligning and defaming the reputation of my Client on the aforesaid website.; also instigating other stringers to protest against my client, as a consequence of which my client is left with no option but to serve upon you this legal notice.
1. That my Client is a reputed news agency specialized in providing news and current affairs services by supplying video content to various TV networks.
2. That my client engages services of many free lancers/Stringers by appointing them to provide us with the coverage of local News Stories from different States in India. The appointment of such free lancers/ stringers and the terms and conditions regarding work and payments are explained over telephone as most stringers don’t opt for travelling to Noida.
3. That in order to malign the goodwill and reputation of our company the said defamatory article is published on the website www.bhadas4media.com which is titled as “NNIS NE KIYA MERE SAATH DHOKA, NAHI DIYA PAISA”, written by Stringer Mr. Dileep Kumar Rao.
4. I through this notice want to warn you that the aforesaid article is based on frivolous grounds and accuses my client and its management of not paying dues and exploiting free lancers/ Stringers, due to be paid for the news provided by them. It may kindly be noted that this is completely sham, frivolous and baseless attempt made to extort money from My Client by blackmailing us through such illegal accusations. The contents of the said article are published without any verification and authentication whatsoever.
5. That you being the Editor of the said website in collusion with some Stringers and ex-employees with intent to damage the reputation of My Client before their business partners, clients and in the media industry, have published such a unauthenticated and unwarranted defamatory article which is also resulting in some of the clients, business partners having been questioned about my clients integrity and credibility. This illegal action of yours appears to be in connivance with other stringers who are trying to organize protest against our company which is clearly aimed to hamper the peaceful working and cause agony and inconvenience to our company staff especially the female staff. You are warned that this may result in criminal prosecution against you and everyone who will be part of such an unlawful assembly.
6. That such an illegal act on your part is a punishable offence under Section 66A of the Information Technology Act and liable for punishment of imprisonment of upto 3 yrs for defamation through internet.
7. That you have falsely accused my client of duping stringers of money which was never due to be paid. Through this notice you are put to strict proof to sustain your aforesaid untenable, frivolous accusation against my client.
8. It is pertinent to mention that the writer of this article Mr. Dileep Kumar Rao who was previously working as Stringer with my Client has tendered a written apology dated 25th March 2013. In said letter Mr. Rao has clearly apologized for writing said article, and has also mentioned that he has stated incorrect facts in said article. He has specifically apologized for writing such misleading article and has given assurance that he shall not repeat any such unwarranted act which is aimed at tarnishing my Client’s image.
9. It is evident that despite said apology the article has neither been removed from your website nor any clarification or apology has been published by you on your website. That your intention is mala fide aiming to extort money from my client by way of blackmailing in such a manner and using internet as the medium for such kind of cheap tactics. I firmly state that there is no substance in any of your frivolous contents against my client and no justification to your dishonest and illicit demands and actions.
10. My Client reserves right to take strict legal action against publishing such defamatory article by way of pursuing criminal and civil proceedings against you and your website.
11. That you are hereby put to notice to:
a. Remove/delete all articles published against my Client with immediate effect.
b. To give a written apology for publishing such defamatory article without verifying the contents of same with immediate effect.
c. To clarify and tender apology for publishing the said defamatory article on your website www.bhadas4media.com with immediate effect.
d. To pay the cost of Rs.10,00,000/- [TEN LACS ONLY] for cost of damages to my clients reputation and for undue harassment caused to my Client due to your such an unwarranted and frivolous article.
12. In these circumstances, you are hereby called upon to comply with this notice with immediate effect, failure of which would leave my client with no other option but to take appropriate legal action, being both civil and criminal which shall be at your sole risk and consequence.
A copy of this notice has been retained by us.
