Dear Members
It has been found that many members, including the office bearers of the Club, are deliberately violating the Constitution and Standard Operating Procedure (By Laws) of the Club. I have already apprised the Advisors about the gross violations in The Club.
1.It has been found that the Club remained opened after 1am on 28th, 31st December, 2013 and on 11tht Jan, 2014. Earlier also, I had received such complaints from the club staff and members. I asked for a written explanation from the General Manager, as to why the staff was allowed to stay in the club after the closing time. I was informed that The President, along with his guests keeps sitting in the club after the functions. I was also told that His guests are treated at the cost of the Club. I would like to inform all the members that according to the Standard Operating Procedure (BY Laws) of the Club, the Ground floor of the Club has to be closed at10.30pm and the lights are to be switched off by 11 pm. The timing of the last order on the first floor is 11pm and the lights are to be switched off by11.30pm. I hereby request all the members, including the president of the Club to abide by the procedures of the club and leave the club premises in time otherwise a strict action will be taken against the violators.
2.It has been found that few of the staff members are directly confronting with the members of the club. I here advising all the staff members to register their complaints to the undersigned and do not confront with the members.
3. As per the Constitution of the club (Para 55) Secretary General controls the staff of the Club. To follow this procedure the President and the senior vice-president are advised not to interfere in the management of the staff. I would like to make clear to you that the posting of the staff is the prerogative of the General Manager in consultation with Secretary General(go through the Constitution and Standard Operating Procedure (BY Laws). I therefore advice the President and the senior vice-president to give written orders to the staff, instead of verbal directions.
4. As per the Constitution of the Club the Secretary General is responsible for maintaining and running the club, I therefore advice all the members of the Governing Council and Staff of the Club not to keep any document and register o the club under their lock and key. It should shown to the undersigned as an when required
5 I again request all the members to maintain the decorum of the club.
