फेसबुक के जरिए पुलिसिंग में प्रयोग करता एक आईपीएस

वैसे तो यूपी और पुलिस का नाम मिक्स करते ही जेहन में कोई अच्छी तस्वीर नहीं बन पाती, लेकिन भरे पूरे जन वाले उत्तर प्रदेश में कई पुलिस वाले ऐसे भी हैं जो लीक से हटकर चलने और नए नए प्रयोग करने में भरोसा रखते हैं. वीके शेखर यूपी कैडर के आईपीएस हैं. इन दिनों यूपी के महराजगंज जिले के पुलिस अधीक्षक हैं. उन्होंने फेसबुक पर एसपी महराजगंज नाम से एक एकाउंट बनाया हुआ है जिसके जरिए महराजगंज में रहने वाले या बाहर रह रहा इस जिले का कोई भी व्यक्ति अपनी बात पुलिस से सीधे कह सकता है, और उसकी फेसबुकी शिकायत के जरिए पुलिस सक्रिय हो जाएगी.

वीके शेखर बताते हैं कि न्यू मीडिया यानि ब्लाग, वेबसाइट, सोशल नेटवर्किंग वेबसाइट्स को पुलिसिंग से जोड़ने का प्रयोग उन्होंने बहुत पहले शुरू कर दिया था. यह बात वर्ष 2000 की है जब वे गाजियाबाद में एसपी थे और उन्होंने गाजियाबाद पुलिस की वेबसाइट लांच कराई थी. वीके शेखर का फेसबुक पर अपना खुद का एकाउंट भी है जिसमें हजारों फ्रेंड हैं. वीके शेखर रोजाना शेर-ओ-शायरी और गद्य-पद्य के माध्यम से अपनी बात अपने लोगों से कहते रहते हैं. उन्होंने 15 फरवरी के दिन मिर्ज़ा ग़ालिब को सलाम कहना और श्रद्धांजलि देना नहीं भूला क्योंकि 15 फरवरी के ही दिन मिर्ज़ा ग़ालिब अल्लाह को प्यारे हुए थे. फेसबुक पर वीके शेखर लिखते हैं-  ….मिर्ज़ा ग़ालिब को श्रद्धांजलि. आज मिर्ज़ा ग़ालिब की पुण्य तिथि (15 फ़रवरी, 1869 ) है. हार्दिक श्रद्धांजलि!  ''अजब नशात से जल्लाद के चलें हैं हम, आगे कि अपने साये से सर, पाँव से है दो कदम आगे'' (नशात = हर्ष)…

विज्ञान के विद्यार्थी (केमिस्ट्री में एमएससी) रहे वीके शेखर बताते हैं- ''बेहद सस्ता और आसान माध्यम है फेसबुक, वेबसाइट आदि. मैं रोजाना अपनी बात, अपनी संवेदना, अपनी सोच का इजहार फेसबुक के जरिए करता हूं और सैकड़ों लोग इसे पढ़ते कमेंट करते लाइक डिसलाइक करते हैं.'' अपने फेसबुक वॉल पर वीके शेखर ने जो कुछ डाला है, उसके चंद उदाहरण यहां पेश है–
