मुंबई प्रेस क्‍लब रेड इंक अवार्ड 2013 के लिए जूरी घोषित

मुंबई प्रेस क्‍लब के रेडइंक अवार्ड 2013 के लिए विजेताओं का चयन आखिरी चरण में हैं. इस बार प्रेस क्‍लब को इन पुरस्‍कारों के लिए 900 से ज्‍यादा पत्रकारों की प्रविष्ठियां प्राप्‍त हुई हैं. खेल, बिजनेस, राजनीति, क्राइम, इंटरटेनमेंट समेत नौ कटेगरी में विजेताओं का चयन करने के लिए जूरी की घोषणा कर दी गई है.

यह जूरी इन प्रविष्ठियों में से फाइनल विजेताओं का चयन करेगी. इसके लिए प्रेस क्‍लब मुंबई की तरफ से प्रेस रिलीज भी जारी की गई है, जिसमें इसकी जानकारी दी गई है. नीचे प्रेस रिलीज..


After having received a record breaking number of entries (over 900) from journalists all across India, the prestigious ‘Press Club Mumbai RedInk Awards for Excellence in Journalism – 2013’ has completed its judging process and has chosen winners in all its nine competitive categories. These will be announced on the Awards night on May 25th, 2013.
 
Upholding the integrity of the judging procedure, in addition to maintaining immaculate records and transparency, each category had a jury of eminent judges from relevant backgrounds, to ensure a multi-faceted perspective and lend a more holistic criteria to the awards. Some of the main criteria considered included impact, readability, R&D effort, breaking news and style. The following is the list of the Categories and Respective

6. Health & Environment       Health expert Madhuri Ruia, environmentalist Debi Goenka, and Novartis CEO Ranjith Shahani
   
7. Science & Innovation         UDCT Vice Chancellor G.D. Yadav, former BARC chief Srikumar Banerjee, and senior science writer Lalitha Vaidhyanathan
   
8. TV Story                     Kumar Ketkar, Meenakshi Menon, Rafeeq Ellias
   
9. Photo Journalism             JWT chief Colvyn Harris, Arko Dutta, and photo curator Niyati Shinde

 Each category awards prizes to the Winner and Runners-Up. There will also be the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’, selected by a special jury from amongst a shortlist drawn up by the Managing Committee of The Press Club. The Press Club Mumbai RedInk Awards for Excellence in Journalism – 2013 will announce its winners in a grand awards function to be held in Mumbai on the 25th of May at the NCPA’s Tata Theatre.
