: Abusive and Repeated Calls from Aegon Religare Staff : Dear All, I am hereby mentioning a case study of DND, were a Insurance Company regularly does promotional calls to a customer, despite of the fact that the customer always mentioned that the number is registered under DND. The most shocking part was once when the customer care executive of the company ended up the call by abusing. The mobile was a default call recording mobile and the stuff got recorded. I would like you all to escalate this issue in public interest which will help me for the legal case in future.

ð 21/09/2011 at 12:10 P.M. approx got a call from Sumit, Executive Aegon Religare were he ended up the call by abusing when not listened to his promotional call. (recording available)

ð 23/09/2011 at 12:45 P.M. approx got a call from Samira Meghani, Executive-Customer Relations from Mumbai office the details of abusive & repeated calls were explained to her. (recording available)

ð On Fri, 23 Sep 2011 12:55:04 +0530 Samira Meghani, Executive-Customer wrote and apologized for the annoyance/inconvenience caused and assured for necessary steps to be taken.

ð On Mon, 26 Sep 2011 12:47:10 +0530 Debarati Guha Senior Manager-Customer Relations wrote at the outset please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience caused to you. We have taken note of this feedback and will be taking necessary action at our end.

ð On Wed, 28 Sep 2011 14:12 PM Debarati Guha Senior Manager-Customer Relations (Mobile Number – 09821233535) called up and assured that the matter has been discussed with the senior management of the company and assured no such inconvenience will happen in future. (recording available)

ð On Wed, 28 Sep 2011 15:15 PM Again got promotional call from Mr. Nikhil Verma explaining religare insurance products. Informed Debarati Guha Senior Manager-Customer Relations on the same at 17:00pm (recording available)

I got a call from your delhi office regarding promotional activity of your financial product, due to non
clarity in the call I could not understand the voice, the executive of your office ended up the call by abusing.

I would like to know few things:-

1. If a number is registered in DND why your company is making promotional calls on it.
2. Does your executive have a right to abuse to any person.
