Goel, Founder Chairman & Chief Mentor, FIITJEE LTD., Kalu Sarai, Sarvapriya Vihar, New Delhi-110016, Dear Sir, I, ANUPAM KHANDELWAL, am an aspirant for IIT and associated with FIITJEE at Ranchi Centre. I had appeared in FIITJEE NSTSE 2011 exams held on 09th Oct. 2011. My Registration number for the exam is 2121048200910110023.
After the examination, I downloaded the result from the website and was very happy to come to know that I have been awarded with Rs. 1,00,000.00 cash award along with Gold Plated Memento and Certificate of Achievement (as National Rank 2). A copy of the result and Abstracts of the result is attached herewith for your ready reference.
I sent an email to [email protected] on 27-10-2011 at 1.55 pm to know the procedure for the award, but have not been replied till now which is very unfortunate for your institute of reputation. Then, I visited the Ranchi centre of FIITJEE but was surprised to know that they had serious misconception on the provisions of the award. It was also horrifying to hear from the official at your centre that even the National Topper and the Rank-3 have also been denied for the award.
Therefore, I apprehend it as deemed denial of the award and compelled to write you this complaint. I think it is worth to mention that I belong to a highly educated family as my father Mr. K.K.Khandelwal is an IAS officer and posted as Secretary in the Government of Jharkhand. He had also completed B.Tech (H.) from IIT Kharagpur. My elder brother Ankur Khandelwal is also a student of IIT Delhi.
I think such award schemes are designed by you to enhance the reputation of your institution and the money involved in such awards is very little in terms of your objectives for such schemes. You have invested a lot to propagate this examination. Therefore, you shall ensure that nobody is being harmed or cheated by such schemes as it will definitely harm the reputation of your organisation if cheated in such manner. I did not appear in the NSTSE for the sake of any award and would have been pleased to get only a word of appreciation for my performance. But since you had announced the scheme for the awards and I had already been communicated for the same, it is now difficult for me to console myself as I have serious feeling of being cheated and thus it is not an issue of merely monetary terms but also it hurts my soul and mind which may compel me to withdraw from your institution in protest of such behaviour and cheating with a student who has performed EXTREMELY WELL in your own language.
Therefore, I would like to request you to have a serious look in the matter and oblige me with the award which is still shown on your website with my name. I would also request you to oblige the First and Third Rankers with the same as per your commitment in the advertisement published in prominent newspapers.
