Rajiv Mishra has been roped in as the Chief Executive Officer of Lok Sabha TV. Bhaskar Ghosh, former I & B Secretary was the first CEO of Lok Sabha TV. Mishra holds his Masters in Broadcasting from the International Academy of Broadcasting (IAB), Montreux, Switzerland. Further he holds an MBA in Media Management from Metropolitan College of New York, and Graduate Certificate Course in Multi-Media from University of California, Los Angeles.
Prior to his appointment at Lok Sabha TV, he was the COO at India News group of TV Channels. Before 
joining India News group he was the President and COO at CineMaya Media Inc. USA. While working with CineMaya, he is said to have been instrumental in launching Times Now, the news channel of The Times of India group as ‘India Now’ in the USA. Mishra had also worked with the BAG Films as COO where he was responsible for overall management of Radio Dhamaal and New Media and International School of Media and Entertainment Studies (ISOMES).
He was the Founder and first President of Association of Radio Operators for India (AROI) the industry representative body of all FM Radio Broadcasters/Stations of India. His contribution in TV Ratings methodology in Europe has been recognized by ITU/EBU in 1996 at Geneva Convention.
He has also worked for Hindustan Times group, Star TV, Zee TV and TV Asia of USA. Mishra had recently written a Book on television titled “Television as a tool of Modernization and Social Change in India” published by International Academy of Broadcasting (IAB), in association with International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and European Broadcasting Union (EBU), Switzerland.
