: नेता जी बड़े नेता, अखिलेश छोटे भाई जैसा : राजनीति से तौबा, पर राज्य सभा जाने के लिए राजी : नई दिल्ली- अपने घर (कांग्रेस) वापस लौटने के बाद संजय दत्त खासी राहत महसूस कर रहे हैं। उन्हें कहीं न कहीं लग रहा है कि उनके ऊपर से मानों किसी ने बोझ हटा दिया हो। जब वे कहते हैं, “मैं नेता जी (मुलायम सिंह) का बहुत आदर करता हूं और अखिलेश तो मेरे छोटे भाई जैसा है”। संजू बाबा यह भी संकेत देते चलते हैं कि उन्होंने अपने पुराने घर (कांग्रेस पार्टी) की भी कुछ खिड़कियों को खोलकर रखा हुआ है।
कांग्रेस के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश में इन दिनों प्रचार कर रहे संजय दत्त ने न्यूज 24 की प्रधान सम्पादक सुश्री अनुराधा प्रसाद से उनके साप्ताहिक कार्यक्रम आमने-सामने में अपनी घर वापसी से लेकर दूसरे तमाम सवालों के जवाब देते हुए कहा, “आपको तो मालूम ही है कि मेरे माता-पिता का कांग्रेस से संबंध पंडित नेहरु और इंदिरा गांधी के जमाने से रहा है। कहा तो यहां तक जाता है कि जिधर श्रीमती इंदिरा गांधी प्रचार के लिए नहीं जा पाती थीं उधर मेरी मां को भेजा जाता था।”
‘आपको कांग्रेस के लिए चुनाव प्रचार करने का न्यौता कैसे मिला ?’ हाल ही में फिल्म अग्निपथ में कांचा चिना के किरदार को खूबसरती से निभाने वाले संजय दत्त ने बताया, “मुझे इलाहाबाद से कांग्रेस के एक वरिष्ठ नेता ने प्रचार करने का आग्रह किया, जिसे मैंने तुरंत स्वीकार कर लिया। मुझे अच्छी तरह से मालूम था कि मेरे समाजवादी पार्टी से जुड़ने के चलते मेरे से कांग्रेस के बहुत से वरिष्ठ नेता खफा थे। उनकी मेरे से नाराजगी वाजिब थी। मुझे इस बात की खुशी है कि सोनिया जी और राहुल गांधी ने मेरे फिर से कांग्रेस में लौटने का स्वागत किया।''
उन्होंने एक सवाल के जवाब में बताया कि उन्होंने कांग्रेस वापस जाने के फैसले की जानकारी अमर सिंह को भी दी। उन्होंने मेरे फैसले का स्वागत किया। “मैं जब समाजवादी पार्टी में जा रहा था तब मेरे बड़े भाई समान अमर सिंह ने मुझे इस तरह के किसी भी कदम को उठाने के लिए हतोत्साहित ही किया था।”
‘आप उत्तर प्रदेश की इन दिनों खाक छान रहे हैं। आपको क्या लगता है कि कांग्रेस के खाते में कितनी सीटें आएंगी?’ कुछ मुस्करना बिखरते हुए संजय दत्त ने कहा कि उनकी तो चाहत है कि कांग्रेस को सभी सीटों पर कामयाबी मिल जाए। फिर कुछ गम्भीर होते हुए वे कहते हैं, ‘मुझे लगता है कि इस बार कांग्रेस का प्रदर्शन उत्तर प्रदेश में बेहतर रहने वाला है। मुझे उम्मीद है कि कांग्रेस को साल 2007 के विधान सभा चुनावों के मुकाबले 20 फीसदी सीटें ज्यादा तो मिल ही जाएंगी।’ उत्तर प्रदेश की मुख्यमंत्री सुश्री मायावती को लेकर उनके द्वारा साल 2007 के विधान सभा चुनावों के दौरान की गई उनकी टिप्पणी पर सफाई देते हुए संजय दत्त ने कहा, “मैंने बहन मायावती जी के बारे में कोई गलत टिप्पणी नहीं की। मैं मानता हूं कि बहन और किसी छोटे की पप्पी ली जाती है। अगर मैंने चुम्मा कहा होता तो गलत होता।“
सियासत के मैदान में आने की संभावनाओं से जुड़े एक सवाल के जवाब में उनका कहा था, “प्रिय़ा राजनीती में है,वो अच्छा काम भी कर रही है। इसलिए मेरा राजनीति का कोई मतलब नहीं है। वैसे भी मैं मानता हूं कि एक परिवार से एक ही व्यक्ति को सियासत करनी चाहिए। मैं फिल्मों में ठीक हूं और अपने काम को खूब मन से कर रहा हूं।'' हालांकि उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि यदि उनके सामने उत्तर प्रदेश और महाराष्ट्र में से किसी एक प्रदेश में चुनाव लड़ने के लिए कहा गया तो वे उत्तर प्रदेश से ही चुनाव लड़ना चाहेंगे।
‘क्या आप राज्य सभा जाना नहीं चाहेंगे ?’ संजय दत्त के चेहरे पर खुशी लहर दौड़ गई इस सवाल को सुनते ही। फिर कहने लगे, “मुझे राज्य सभा में जाने का कोई भी प्रस्ताव स्वीकार होगा।“

Sanjay Dutt at home in Congress, still window for SP is open
‘Congress to increase tally by 20 per cent in UP’ ‘No politics for me, but entry in Rajya Sabha is welcome’*
New Delhi: While Sanjay Dutt is back in his ‘ home’, Congress, the ‘Kancha Cheenaa’ of highly acclaimed film 'Agneepath' is also ensuring that a window of his previous home (read party Samajwadi Party) remains open. On a campaign trial currently in the heartland of Uttar Pradesh for Congress, Sanjay Dutt says that he feels so relaxed and better after he gets an opportunity to work again for Congress.
In a candid interview with Ms.Anurradha Prasad, Editor- in- Chief of News 24 channel for her weekly show ‘Aamne-Samne’, Sanjay Dutt made it clear that he wants to move on from his past links with Samajwadi Party. “ While I have deep respect for Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav) and Akhilesh is like my younger brother, I feel at home in Congress for the obvious reasons that my parents had close ties with Congress since Pandit ji and Mrs.Indira Gandhi’s time,” Sanjay Dutt reveals.
‘How did you get an opportunity to campaign for the Congress ?‘ “A Congress leader from UP asked me to campaign in Allahabad. And I took the decision to campaign in UP there and then. I know that due to my stint with SP, some senior Congress leaders were annoyed with me. However, they were gracious enough to welcome me back . And before going on campaign, I informed Amar Singh. And I tell you he was very happy with my decision. In fact, it was he who discouraged me from joining SP, ” Sanjay Dutt informs.
‘As you are campaigning in the length and breadth of Uttar Pradesh, how many seats are predicating for Congress party in this elections ?’ With raw smile on his face, Sanjay Dutt said, “ I wish Congress gets all the seats as Rahul Gandhi is working very hard there,” adding “ I believe that they would increase their tally up to 20 per cent from their 2007 number.” And before answering this question, Sanjay Dutt asked, ‘ How many seats are there in the UP Assembly? ‘
And replying to a question related to his statement that greatly angers Mayawati during the 2007 campaign, Sanjay Dutt justified what he said that then. “ There is nothing wrong if you offer ‘puppy’ to either your sister or some kid. Of course, Chumma is not okay,” Sanjay Dutt said.
‘Any plans to join politics?’ “ Priya is already there in politics and doing a fine job. I strongly believe that only one member of the family should enter politics. I am happy in films and enjoying my work to the hilt,” Sanjay Dutt said.
He, however, said that if there would be any option before him to fight the elections from either UP or Maharashtra, he would opt for UP. “ And this is also not true that when Priya Dutt was offered Congress ticket, I objected. To be fair with her, she deserved that as she was working with Dutt sahib since long.”
‘Will you mind joining Rajya Sabha ?’ “ Not a bad idea. I can consider this tempting offer,” Sanjay Dutt concludes with a smile.
