As a person, I believe in clean politics sans any muck raking, gossip mongering against the contestants or petty panel politics. That is one of the biggest reasons why I chose not to be a part of any panel. I request all my journalist friends to come together in my support because being an independent candidate, my strength can only be my friends/supporters who must vote for me as an individual and not because I am part of any panel.
A bit about myself, I am a hardcore journalist with 15 years of professional experience having worked with a newspaper (the Pioneer), a news agency (the Press Trust of India), four television channels (Doordarshan, Sahara Samay, MH1 News and India News) and All India Radio. At present, I am working with the international media. I was also engaged by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) for the recently concluded Commonwealth Games.
The PCI elections are due on Saturday, November 13, followed by vote counting and results the next day. I promise to take all of you along after the elections so that we can work as a team for the betterment of the Club and our journalist community. I am open to suggestions and advice because the Club is as much yours as mine. For the moment, I can only say that I wont let you down. I am reachable at 9811300601 and [email protected]
Lets join hands for the sake of this 53-year-old institution.

First try to make the PCI membership process easy and to be collective voice of journalist rather to cocoon of self esteemed elite class of journalist.
