आजतक की (और पूरे टीवी टुडे नेटवर्क की भी) इंटरटेनमेंट एडीटर रुकमिनी सेन ने अपने पद से एक महीने का नोटिस देते हुए इस्तीफ़ा दे दिया है. टीवी टुडे नेटवर्क मैनेजमेंट ने इस्तीफे को आज ही स्वीकार भी कर लिया.. रुकमिनी ने अपने फेसबुक वाल पर मैनेजमेंट की इस हड़बड़ी और गड़बड़ी के कारणों पर 'प्रकाश' डाला है।
अंग्रेजी में लिखे अपने स्टेटस अपडेट्स में उन्होंने टीवी टुडे के मालिक अरुण पुरी और आजतक के मैनेजिंग एडीटर सुप्रिय प्रसाद पर जम के भड़ास निकाली है। जरा आप भी नज़र डालें।

Not the way you did. Ok fine you have asked and I have forgiven that. We have known each other for years. You have always been known to be a bit uncouth, severely feudal, shamelessly patriarchal. So forgiven. However, You must not follow it up with another question which sounds like – Is this a long distance relationship? and then 'Why are you in a long distance relationship? Marriage? Why no marriage? Anyways I am sure you have many boyfriends! So whats the count? Kaun sey number waala hai?' You know I know you are on my friend list. I am letting you be there!! You must read this… and then think…most men hurl jargons like 'why did she bring up this late??' So I am bringing it up today itself. And I can take your name… I will eventually…For now you just ruminate over when will I do that? how? Where? and BTW SHAME! SHAME!!! Had I known you were capable of this…I would have never resigned…and given you such a tough time…:):).. But really Shame Shame!

A month of solid engagement… Look out for this space friends…Lets learn together how to call a bully a bully…how to deal with Sexual Harrasment at work place…No one can cast aspersions on your 'Character', No person has the right to ask what are you doing in your personal space (until and unless you are violating anybody)…and you don't have to MARRY for social acceptance and professional credibility. Whether you are in a same sex relationship, multiple partnership…whether you are monogamous, polygamous , in a live in relationship… from North East, East or down South…whether you are a Dalit or a tribal… or a WOMAN…you have equal rights to a life of dignity, respect, equal opportunity, promotions and increments like your STRAIGHT, MALE, UPPER CLASS, UPPER CASTE, MARRIED, BULLY, NORTH INDIAN colleagues!!!

Rukmini Sen : Recieved a call from TV Today's HR. They are being generous. Have told me today is my last day. I don't have to serve my month long notice. I asked why the generosity!:) Reportedly Mr Rahul Kulashretra, Mr Supriya Prasad and Ms majumdar have taken this call in a meeting!! WOW!! Wonder why?? I didn't take the name of the offender as I needed to think through whether I shoud do it before making a formal complaint against him to Aroon Purie. I was also thinking whether Aroon Purie is capable of any justice considering he re-hired a man as MANAGING EDITOR after sacking him once for sexual harrasment!!! Anyways as we are fighting a larger fight and thus I wrote to him after this chat with the HR guy. I am not going out silently on this MR PURIE, MR KULASHRESHTRA and ofcourse dear dear SUPRIYA PD. The offender is SUPRIYA PRASAD. However, I blame Aroon Purie for subjecting me to this experience!! If the leader is not clear about these values why should his dogs be?
