: एक मीडियाकर्मी को परेशान किए जाने की कहानी, उन्हीं की जुबानी : Unnecessary Harrassement caused by Ujala to me & my family… Respected Yashwantji, maine Amar Ujala Publication ltd May 2009 ko join kiya tha as a Asst.Manager Chandigarh mein, mere achche kaam ko dekhte hue Amar Ujala ne mera promotion karke mujhe Deputy Manager bana kar Kanpur bhej diya on March 2010.
Maine apni puri mehnat se Kanpur unit mein bhi kaam kiya, everybody supported me at that unit. Main kanpur unit mein Retail Head tha aur jab tak maine kaam kiya retail segment mein bhi growth aayi. Kuch personal problem ke kaaran maine Jan 7th 2011 ko resign kar diya aur apne resignation letter mein request ki ki mujhe jald se jald relieve kiya jaye. Mr. Bhupendra Dubey (Unit Head- Amar Ujala Kanpur) ne mujhe advice di ki agar mera mann kaam karne mein nahi lag raha hai to main agle din se office na aaun.
Maine unki baat maante hue apna No Dues Certificate sabhi HOD’s se sign karaya, sab logo ne mujhe best wishes dete hue mera No Dues Certificate sign bhi kar diya aur maine Kanpur Office mein jama bhi kar diya. Iske baad same day mujhe farewell party bhi di gayi. Mujhe laga sab kuch theek ho gaya hai but shayad koi mere resignation se khush nahi tha.
Mere resignation ke kareeb 2 mahine baad achanak mere ghar par Amar Ujala ke letter head par ek notice aaya ki mujhe approx.Rs.9000/- jama karme hain kyonki maine notice period serve nahi kiya. Sir ab aap hi bataiye achcanak itne din baad Amar Ujala ko mujhese itna paisa kyon maangna pada. Notice mein likha tha ki main agar ye paise jama nahi kiya to mere upar legal action liya jayega. Aur uss din ke baad se mere paas kam se kam 15 letter aur email kar kar ke mujhe aur meri family ko mentally torture kar rahen hain.
Sir mera sawaal hai ki…
1. Agar notice period serve karna itna hi zaroori tha to mujhe Mr.Dubey ne ye advice kyon di ki main agar office nahi aana chahoon to na aaun?
2. Mera No Dues Certificate sabhi HOD ne kyon sign kiya?
3. Mujhe farewell party kyon di?
4. Aur achanak 2 mahine baad is tarah ke recovery letter bhej rahen hain?
5. Resign dene ke baad meri tabiyat kharab ho gayi thi aur lag bhag 20 din tak main bed rest pe tha. Inn sabke baavjood jab maine Kanpur unit ke Amar Ujala HR Manager se request ki to unho ne kaha ki ab aapka notice period serve karne ka samay lapse ho gaya hai aur advice di ki koi baat nahi kuch nahi hoga.
Sir ab aap hi bataiye ki agar koi insaan apne notice period ke samay physically fit nahi hai to kya is desh ka kanoon ye kehta hai ki mar jao par notice period serve zarur karo.
Sir jab tak maine Amar Ujala ke liye kaam kiya tab tak kisi ko koi problem nahi thi jab resign kiya to kya maine itna bada gunah kar diya ki?
Sir iska matlab to yehi hai ki bandhua majdoor ki tarah kaam karte raho agar company chhodne ka mann bhi banaya to zindagi mein notices ki itni barsaat karde aur court ki dhamki de ke aapki jaan le le.
Sir is matter ko maine Amar ujala ke Executive Director Mutrejaji ko bhi email karke batane ki koshish ki par abhi tak us email ka koi reply nahi aaya aur ab to kuch din pehle Amar Ujala ke Advocate ne bhi dhamki de dali.
Sir iss dhamki bhare letters se main aur mera pura pariwar itna pareshan hain ki agar mujhe hypertension se koi bimari ho gayi ya maine tension mein koi galat step uthaya to uska zimmedar Amar Ujala Publication hoga.
Sir baat Rs.9000/- ki nahi hai baat sahi aur galat ki hai. Maine chahta hoon ki aap apni website ke zariye is matter ka kuch niwaran karen please.
Main chahta hoon ki iss matter ko Amar Ujala ke Director Shri Rajul ji Maheshwari ya Shri Mutrejaji ki knowledge mein aaye phir bhi agar wo kehte hain ki main galat hoon to main kahin se loan leke inka amount paid kar dunga.
Sir mere paas Amar Ujala jaise itne bade corporate se ladne ke liye nato koi saboot hai aur nato rupaiye aur power, mere paas agar kuch hain to wo hai apni sachchai, imaandari aur himmat.
Agar aap aur aapka ye news portal meri kuch maddat kar saken to main aur mera pariwar aapka koti koti dhanyawad de sakta hai.

Subject: Unnecessary harassment caused by Amar Ujala to me & my family.
This is to put into your kind consensus that I Abhinav Awasthi was an employee of Amar Ujala Publications Ltd & had joined the group on May 11th 2009 at Panchkula Unit as an Assistant Manager (Education Segment).
I had been promoted as a Deputy Manager (Retail Segment) & transferred to Kanpur unit on March 15th 2010. Due to pressure from my family to join my parental business, I had put my papers on Jan 8th 2011 & requested the management to relieve me as soon as possible without mentioning any specific date for my relieving.
After few days from my resignation I was called by Bhupendra Dubey Sir (Unit Head-Kanpur) & mutually we agreed that if I was not willing to continue I can be relieved from immediate effect after my No Dues Certificate mutually signed by each & every H.O.D of the unit including Bhupendra Sir. I did the same & even the farewell party was conducted in the presence of all H.O.D’s & HR Manager, till that time there were no issues.
Suddenly in the mid March 2011, I received a letter from the management mentioning about my dues of Rs.9000 something in lieu of non serving of my notice period. Till then I have received 5 letters of that kind & approx.20 emails about a threat that if I would not deposit the mentioned amount strict action would be taken against me to recover it. Regarding the same I had also talked & requested Rajeev Kental Sir but till date this matter is not closed & I am still receiving such letters.
Sir, now my questions are if notice period was so important to serve – Why had I been relieved by Bhupendra Dubeyji?, Why every H.O.D signed my No Dues Certificate?, Why I had been given farewell party?, Why nobody prompts regarding this condition from the management? And why after 2 months they have realized that I have to serve notice period & it is mandatory? And then also I agreed to serve my notice period but they said your serving period is expired.
Sir, after resigning from Amar Ujala, I am still not settled & in the inception period of my own business for which I have to go to other cities from my hometown for good number of days in a month. Now, in my absence, my family receives such letters which somehow threatens them & now they are very depressed & gradually becoming patient of low blood pressure due to continues recovery reminders.
Sir, I am not convinced to pay such amount to Amar Ujala, so I request you to instruct the concerned department to write-off the said amount.
Sir, also my humble request to you to advice the HR Department not to send such letters of recovery to my home as it harasses my family members.
Further if you feel so & advice me to deposit this amount then I will honor your instruction.
