मीडिया संस्थानों में शीर्ष पदों पर तैनात पत्रकारों ने तो फरमान जारी कर दिया कि जमात के सभी लोग अपनी संपत्ति का ब्योरा दें, पर क्या कभी उन लोगों ने सोचा कि अपने नीचे काम कर रहे पत्रकारों को वे क्या मेहनताना देते हैं, जिसे वो अपनी संपत्ति के रूप में पेश कर सकें। दिहाड़ी मजदूरी से भी कम वेतन पर काम करने वाले पत्रकारों के लिए शायद ये किसी मज़ाक से कम नहीं कि वो बेचारे अपने फटेहाल होने का तमाशा सबके सामने करें।
मोटी सैलरी पर काम करने वाले और बड़ी गाड़ियों में घूमने वाले इन पत्रकारों से मेरा बस यही सवाल है कि नंगा नहाएगा क्या और निचोड़ेगा क्या… भाई इस बात का लबोलुआब यही है कि इस फील्ड में गिनती के पत्रकारों की बात की जाए तो वो अपनी संपत्ति का ब्योरा देते या सुनाते अच्छे लगेंगे। आखिरकार उनके थैले से कुछ ना कुछ तो निकलेगा ही। मैं यहां मीडिया में लाई जा रही पारदर्शिता की मुहिम से बचने की कोशिश नहीं कर रहा बल्कि अपने फटेहाल का तमाशा नहीं बनाना चाहता। यही वजह है कि मेरे जैसे कई पत्रकार इस मुहिम में शामिल होने से पहले कतरा रहे हैं कि कहीं वो लोगों के बीच मज़ाक बनकर ना रह जाएं।
इन शब्दों के ज़रिए मैं वरिष्ठ मार्गदर्शकों का अपमान नहीं करना चाहता बल्कि चाहता हूं कि वे पहले अपने नीचे काम कर रहे लोगों की सैलरी पर ग़ौर करे कि कहीं आपके जाने के बाद बेचारे अपनी तंगहाली और बदहाली पर आपको बुरा भला तो नहीं कहते या घुट-घुट कर काम करने पर कहीं मजबूर तो नहीं। मेरे ख्याल से पत्रकारिता में गंध फैलाने वाले जिन पत्रकारों का नाम प्रकाश में आया है वे सभी कहीं ना कहीं किसी न किसी संस्थान के बड़े पदों पर बैठे थे और हैं भी। मीडिया के सभी सीनियर्स से यही कहना चाहता हूं कि इस आदेश को जारी करने से पहले एक बार पड़ताल तो जरूर कर लीजिए कि कहीं आपके संस्थान में भी कोई शोषित तो नहीं हो रहा, नहीं तो आखिर में बेचारा वो भी कहने पर मजबूर हो जाएगा कि नंगा नहाएगा क्या और निचोड़ेगा क्या।

True opinion by an insider, I must say! In fact, this issue (not only in journalism, rather in almost all industries) requires serious attention from other stakeholders. Hope some eyeballs fall rightly!

True bye the way Mr Arun Sinha this happening so lobbying and PR Agency provide journalist as per there requirement or needs or okat this way management can see we are providing journalist perks. Lol…..
the way media is going i think next Journalist Wage board will make guide line on the basis of perks consideration. THE whole matter is a part of western style of bribing.

very rightly said Mr Arun Sinha. I have been in journalism for past 3 years and I never recommend anybody to join this field. This is the biggest exploitation platform. The rickshaw pullers, factory labours and many more who we think are poor earn better than over 85 pc of journalists. I think it is the time when all journalist must stand and press for the majitha wage board implementation.

very well said bhai……….I think a self regulatory body should be made to look after such issues………In my opinion Bro salary is biggest issue which creates divide or lead to corruption. This huge gap of salary not only brings unhealthy environment but it effects the capability to work… I have met several journalist who work on the ground level of any organisation but are paid very less in comparison to the top brass who r sitting in thier AC room………According to me PIB or they ( Media organisation) itself should make a regulatory to take care of small journalist or groud level journalist’s………salary should not have huge gaps ………this will surely lead the corruption……otherwise they will do what groud level journalist r doing like police station’s brokary etc

wah sirji Dil jeetne wali bat kahi hai…acha hai…aur ye bat agar kisi ke samajh me aa jaye..to bat hi kya…lekin ek had tak theek bhi hai…kam se kam is media me corrupt logo ka bhi to pata chale..netao ko kosne wale ye media karmi ko bhi apne gireban me jhank lena chahiye…waise aapki bat achi lagi…
