कई राज्यों के अपकंट्री सिटी भास्कर सप्लीमेंट बंद

खर्चे कम करने की प्रक्रिया में भास्कर समूह ने कुछ बड़े फैसले लिए हैं। भास्कर समूह के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर सुधीर अग्रवाल ने एक आंतरिक मेल जारी कर मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़ और हरियाणा के सभी संस्करणों के अपकंट्री सिटी भास्कर सप्लीमेंटों (यूपीसी सीबी) को 22 मार्च तक बंद करने का निर्देश दिया है। भड़ास4मीडिया के पास मौजूद इस मेल में कहा गया है कि राजस्थान के सिर्फ चार केंद्रों (अलवर, श्रीगंगानगर, बीकानेर और कोटा) के अपकंट्री सिटी भास्कर सप्लीमेंट बंद किए जाएंगे। बंद किए जाने वाले अपकंट्री सिटी भास्कर सप्लीमेंटों में कुल 80 लोग काम करते हैं। प्रबंधन ने कहा है कि इनमें जो योग्य हैं, उन्हें भास्कर के मुख्य संस्करण में एडजस्ट किया जाए। 

बाकी लोगों को एक महीने के नोटिस पीरियड का वेतन देकर कार्यमुक्त कर दिया जाए। प्रबंधन ने श्रवण गर्ग को जिम्मा दिया है कि वे 80 लोगों में से किन्हें रखना है, किन्हें मुक्त करना है, इस बारे में तय करें। उधर, भड़ास4मीडिया को गंगानगर से मिली सूचना के अनुसार यहां सिटी भास्कर में काम कर रहे दो मीडियाकर्मियों इंद्र यादव और अमनदीप कौर को हटा दिया गया है।

We have decided to role back the Upcountry City Bhaskar in the entire States of MP, CG and Haryana. 

As far as Rajasthan is concerned,  In Alwar, Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Bhilwara and Kota (5) centres we will drop the UPC CB  and In Udaipur, Ajmer, Churu &Jhunjhunu and Sikar (4) centres we will continue with UPC CB, wherein in Ajmer – it is  a 2 day product in week and remaining 3 centres comes out with only one day product in week. In Jodhpur – the existing product of CB – already a 5 day product in week, which is not the part of UPC CB,   will continue as it is.

This should be implemented effective Monday – 23rd March and accordingly we need to correct the budget for all these States and Centres.

Mr. Shravan Garg will have to decide a small team to produce the UPC CB in Udaipur, Ajmer, Churu &Jhunjhunu and Sikar,  as well as CB in Jodhpur.   All other staff in UPC CB in the entire country which is almost comprising of 80 people will have to be either adjusted into our new cluster editions set-up but only as per the budget provision and the capability of the person,  or persons who are not fit and can not be adjusted will have to be given the 30 days notice payment and would be relieved accordingly.

Mr.Shravan Garg thru the State Editors would ensure the manpower rationalization and worked out the final list of  – People (State wise ) who are being adjusted into which cluster editions set-up  (on the basis of the allotted budget provision and  ability of the person) and People (State wise) who are being relieved.

This list should be worked out within next  5 days,  so that we can correct the manpower cost in the budget.

A clear communication would be sent by Sh.Shravan ji to all concerned in Editorial as the last issue of UPC CB prevailing till 22nd March  in MP, CG, Haryana and in Rajasthan centres of Alwar, Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Bhilwara and Kota (5) centres and after this we would continue this product only in Udaipur, Ajmer, Churu &Jhunjhunu and Sikar (4) centres. W.e.f. 23rd March onwards,  this UPC CB would get converted into one page which will be carried in the local pullout of all these centres on the same day when the UPC CB was being given.  This one page should have the best of it’s content so that our Brand can be maintained as well as readers would continue to get their content.

We would work out some methodoly to create this one page in the States and the no.of reporters or manpower at each of the centre should not be continued as it is due to this one page, otherwise it will become huge cost and infrastructure just to produce one page that to weekly basis.

Hence it is suggested that we should be devised some ways where this one page would get accustomed into its respective pullout (edition wise) with some common content and some local content of the concerned area pullout.

It is also suggested that some one should be given this mandate to monitor this one page product.  I think Mr.Pradeep Diwedi can be given this task to continue with UPC CB and monitor it country wide, so that this product is not only get converted smoothly into one page but also good in content to retain the readership.
