बम ब्लास्ट के आरोपियों ने दो नेताओं का नाम लिया

दिल्ली बम ब्लास्ट के दो आरोपियों ने दिल्ली पुलिस स्पेशल सेल से पूछताछ में खुलासा किया है कि उनका संबंध देश के दो नेताओं से रहा है. आतंकियों से दो नेताओं के रिश्ते की खबर को स्टार न्यूज पर प्रमुखता से दिखाया जा रहा है. इस पूरे घटनाक्रम के बारे में स्टार न्यूज की तरफ से जारी प्रेस रिलीज को यहां प्रकाशित किया जा रहा है-

Arrested terror accused alleges 2 leaders funded him while he was on the run

New Delhi, 10th March : On the run Delhi bomb blast accused Shahzad alias Pappu has made startling revelation to the Delhi Police Special cell alleging that SP leader Abu Azmi and Congress leader Abdus Salam funded him while he was on the run from Police.  

Shahzad and Junaid were the 2 terror accused who managed to escape during the Batla house operation of Delhi Police. Shahzad who was arrested last month by Delhi Police during interrogation has said that 22 days after the Batla house encounter him and Junaid landed in Mumbai on the 11th October 2008 to meet SP leader Abu Azmi. The meeting took place at Haji Niyaaz Street in Colaba. Shahzad further alleged that he has family relations with Azmi, who gave them a sum of 8 thousand rupees and advised them on how to avoid arrest.

Shahzad alleges that Azmi told them to lie low till the time a charge sheet in the case is filed. About former Congress MLA from Mubarakpur Abdus Salam Shahzad says that the duo met Salam 5 days after the Batla House encounter in neighboring Noida’s Sector 44. Salam allegedly gave them ten thousand rupees and advised them to sneak into Nepal to avoid arrest.

After Shahzad’s revelation the Special Cell of Delhi police have already quizzed Abu Azmi and Abdul Salam. When contacted by Star News Azmi said that though he knows Shahzad’s father he has never met the accused. Salam on the other hand accepted that he did give the money to the duo but never advised them to leave the country.
