Mumbai : News reports alleging Income Tax raids at the residence of Shri Kripashankar Singh, President, Mumbai Regional Congress Committee (MRCC) has been termed as false and mischievous by the party. “There is not an iota of truth in these reports. They are blatantly fictitious, mischievous and defamatory,” said Mr. Kishore Joshi, Spokesperson, MRCC.
Joshi further reiterated that his political adversaries are subjecting Shri Kripashankar Singh to a witch-hunt. “It is appalling to note that these television channels have aired the stories without cross checking either with the Income Tax Department or with Kripaji.” A few month back Enforcement Directorate had given a clean chit to Shri Kripashankar Singh after thorough scrutiny. “Kripaji and Mumbai Congress are committed to clean and honest politics.” Press Release
