To, The Secretary, Press Council of India, New Delhi, Sir/Madam, Please refer to your letter F.No.28/38/09-RTI/PCI, dated 14.09.2009, in response to my RTI application dated 28.08.2009, through which I was informed by the Under Secretary (C)/PIO Ms Punam Sibbal that my complaint dated 14.07.2009, has been referred to the Sub-Committee set up to examine the phenomenon of paid news observed during General Elections last year.

I would like to know whether the Sub-Committee has submitted its report or not. If not, then by when the Sub-Committee is expected to submit its report.

I was also informed that on finalization of the report a copy thereof will be sent to me for my information.
