Radio Misty has appointed an Ombudsman for its radio business to cater to the specific needs and requirements of listeners and advertisers using the medium of radio. The station has appointed chairman of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), North Bengal Chapter G S Hora as their ombudsman. Radio Misty has stations at Siliguri in West Bengal and Gangtok in Sikkim. This Initiative is aimed at making radio an easily accessible, customer friendly and serious medium. Radio Misty is known for its Innovative On air and ground activities. Through this initiative the station is providing a platform where the issues and concerns related to the medium can be addressed and solutions arrived at to increase the effectiveness of radio.
G S Hora is a leading Name in the region in field of Business, Art, Culture and Education in West Bengal and Sikkim. He is chairman of CII, North Bengal chapter. He was District Governor of Lions International. He is Honorary Lecturer in Law Department of North Bengal University. Beside this he is chairman of Gyan Jyoti College and Institute of Chartered accountants of India at Siliguri.
