NEW DELHI : Radio Netherlands Worldwide (RNW) has entered into a new partnership with the radio channel Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). IGNOU is a central open University with about 2 million students in India and 35 countries abroad and broadcasts RNW’s weekly radio programme Earth Beat.
RNW is the Dutch international public service broadcaster. Through radio, television, mobile platforms and the internet, they keep millions of people informed. RNW works together with over 3300 partner radio stations over de world. Gyan Vani, the open university’s educational radio channel, has a network of 31 radio stations with more than two million students in India and abroad.
Earth Beat : Earth Beat is Radio Netherlands Worldwide’s sustainability show. Each week host Marnie Chesterton and the Earth Beat team fan 
out far and wide and consider what we create, develop, conserve and destroy; meeting and interacting the people who are making this transformation. The programme presents a straight-talking, intelligent and often funny look at a serious subject. While the show has a light touch it still manages to put across its message on a burning issue.
