Dear colleagues,
Year 2008 is coming to an end and soon we will be entering in the New Year. The beginning of this financial year saw an unprecedented increase in the news print prices.
Second half of the financial year is witnessing a slowdown in Indian economy which is likely to continue for at least 15 to 18 months. With revenue under pressure and newsprint going up, it calls for realignment of our costs to better position us, compete in a tough market scenario. This is in many ways is the most difficult step, but a necessary one.
Operating costs such as manpower, travel, perquisites, etc. have been realigned in the last few days. All this has been done to equip us face the challenging environment in the times to come.
The phase of correction is over and I am sure we are geared up to face the future. Now it is time for all of us to get together, join hands and truly emerge as ONE team, the winning RAJASTHAN team.
