वीओआई के ग्रुप एडिटर किशोर मालवीय ने केंद्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्री को पत्र लिखर वरिष्ठ टीवी पत्रकार स्वर्गीय अशोक उपाध्याय के परिजनों को सरकारी मदद देने का अनुरोध किया है। पता चला है कि मंत्रालय इस अनुरोध पर गंभीरता से विचार कर रहा है। किशोर द्वारा भेजा गया पत्र इस प्रकार है-
Dear Madam,
With great sorrow I have to inform you that one of the senior tv journalists of Voice of India Mr Ashok Upadhyay expired on 25th December, 2009 after a cardiac attack. Mr Upadhyay has left behind his minor son and his widow who live in a rented house.
I hereby request you to please provide his family a financial help so that they can live respectfully.

It’s utter shame that late Shri Upadhyai’s family have to run from pillar to post for support.
First the workers in VOI were hit by one of the fraudest person in India Mr.Mittal and God only knows what is Mr. Amit Sinha. He to is following in the same lines of Mittals.
Don’t you think it’s the responsibility of the owner or the employer to provide all the ameneties if someone dies during the official duty in office.
