धनवानों की मैग्जीन का भारतीय संस्करण लांच

अंग्रेजी बिजनेस अखबार वॉल स्ट्रीट जरनल के भारत में कदमताल करने के तुरंत बाद धनी लोगों की मशहूर अंतरराष्ट्रीय बिजनेस मैग्जीन फोर्ब्स ने भी अब भारत के मीडिया बाजार में ”इंडिया फोर्ब्स” के नाम से अवतार ले लिया है। पिछले साल भारत सरकार द्वारा विदेशी पत्र-पत्रिकाओं को कुछ शर्तों के साथ भारत में प्रकाशित करने के लिए जो आजादी दी गई, उसी के चलते एक के बाद एक विदेशी अखबार और मैग्जीन भारतीय पाठकों के समक्ष खुद को पेश करने लगे हैं। फोर्ब्स के भारतीय संस्करण की लांचिंग मुंबई में की गई। इस समारोह में फोर्ब्स मीडिया के चेयरमैन, सीईओ और एडिटर-इन-चीफ स्टीव फोर्ब्स और नेटवर्क 18 के संस्थापक और मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर राघव बहल समेत दर्जनों विशिष्ट लोग मौजूद थे। फोर्ब्स ने भारत में मुद्रित और वितरित होने के लिए नेटवर्क18 ग्रुप का दामन थामा है। फोर्ब्स के भारतीय संस्करण का साझीदार है नेटवर्क18 ग्रुप।

फोर्ब्स के कर्ताधर्ता स्टीव फोर्ब्स की ओर से इस मौके पर कहा गया- ”हम लोग भारत के अग्रणी मीडिया संस्थानों में से एक नेटवर्क18 ग्रुप के साथ पार्टनर के रूप में काम करते हुए बेहद रोमांचित हैं। फोर्ब्स इंडिया जिस वक्त लांच किया जा रहा है, वह भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था के उठते-गिरते रहने का दौर है। अर्थव्यवस्था की यह कहानी भारत के भविष्य के लिहाज से आशंकाओं और उम्मीदों को अभिव्यक्त करने वाली कहानी है।” 

फोर्ब्स मूलतः अमेरिका की मैग्जीन है जो दुनिया भर के सफल और धनी लोगों की जीवनशैली, धन बटोरने के तरीके, धन की मात्रा, स्टाइल, प्रभाव आदि के बारे में समय-समय पर विश्लेषणात्मक खबरें प्रकाशित करती है। दुनिया में कौन कितना अमीर है, इसकी सूची पत्रिका हर साल जारी करती है और इसी सूची के आधार पर दुनिया भर के मीडिया हाउस अपने मीडिया माध्यम में सफल लोगों के बारे में खबरें प्रकाशित करते हैं। फोर्ब्स इंडिया का आनलाइन कंटेंट बिजनेस.इन.काम पर उपलब्ध होगा। फोर्ब्स इंडिया के एडिटर इंद्रजीत गुप्ता हैं। उन्होंने फोर्ब्स इंडिया के आनलाइन कंटेंट वाली वेबसाइट पर अपने ब्लाग में फोर्ब्स इंडिया के अवतार लेने के बारे में The Best of Both Worlds शीर्षक से कुछ यूं लिखा है-

”Launching a new business magazine in these times is a hazardous exercise. But the Network18 group embarked on the project to launch the Indian edition of Forbes at a time when the world economy was clearly in high spirits. Yet within the first four months of our project, we ran smack into the worst downturn in living history. We watched in horror as the world economy shook under the tremors of its impact. Even till two weeks ago, we were staring at the prospect of a hung Parliament adding to the economy’s woes. Suddenly, the tide has changed.

We couldn’t have asked for more opportune moment to debut Forbes India.
