Dear Yashwant ji, This note of mine is for Mr. Sanjay Kumar. I dont know Mr. Sanjay personally, nor I think he has ever worked in Punjab or with me anywhere. His comments on my personal life have forced me to write back to you, otherwise his comments are not worth reacting.
Mr. Sanjay, I must tell you, my wife did suffer from blood cancer and her treatment was taken from McLeodganj, near Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh from a Tibetan doctor and simultaneously from CMC Ludhiana. It was detected at an early stage and thank God, it was cured partially and hopefully she will be cured fully here in Canada in next two years. My son never suffered from any illness or disease.
Secondly, I was the Principal of a DEGREE COLLEGE and not of any small school as you have written. The name of the College was PTM ARYA COOLEGE, NURMAHAL, a very small township near Jalandhar. It had 500 girls and 200 boys when I was there. I had 29 members of staff on roll at that time. The then Governor of Punjab, Lt.Gen (Rtd) JFR Jacob, in a convocation of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, honoured me because I was the youngest Principal of the GND University, my age was only 25 years and 3 momths when I became Principoal. I had completed an MPhil from England and two Masters degree at that time. After leaving Dainik Jagran, I again joined a Degree College as Principal.
I am sorry to say, you have compared Mr. Nishikant Thakur to Lord Bholanath, it is because of your shallow knowledge. Meenakshi’s role is known to everybody in Chandigarh and Punjab and I dont want to waste my time on Meenakshi. If you have time, please try to get the list from your Bholanath of the senior journalists who had to quit Dainik Jagran because of this Bureau Chief of Punjab and Haryana who doesnot know the names of the District of either state even, who never comes to office in time, who can never write even a single paragraph on any issue.
Thanks for writing to me. Thanks again.
