इंडिया न्यूज प्रबंधन ने झूठे वादे किए : विल्फ्रेड लोबो

विल्फ्रेड लोबो उर्फ विल्फी का कहना है कि इंडिया न्यूज के टेक्निकल डायरेक्टर पद से उन्होंने खुद इस्तीफा दिया। खुद के निकाले जाने संबंधी खबर पढ़ने के बाद विल्फी ने भड़ास4मीडिया से संपर्क किया। उन्होंने कंपनी के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर कार्तिकेय शर्मा को 16 सितंबर 2008 को मेल से भेजे इस्तीफे की कॉपी को सुबूत के तौर पर भड़ास4मीडिया के पास भेजा। विल्फी ने इस्तीफे में अपने 7 माह के कार्यकाल में हुईं उन कुछ घटनाओं का इशारे-इशारे में जिक्र किया है जिससे उनके सामने रिजाइन करने की नौबत आई।

विल्फ्रेड लोबो ने भड़ास4मीडिया से बातचीत में इंडिया न्यूज को अनप्रोफेशनल संस्थान बताया। उन्होंने खुद की तीन महीने की सेलरी रोके जाने पर नाराजगी जाहिर की। कंपनी प्रबंधन पर झूठे वादे करने का आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि कंपनी एक नियुक्ति पत्र तक नहीं दे सकी।

टीवी इंडस्ट्री में खुद के 20 वर्षों का उम्दा ट्रैक रिकार्ड होने का जिक्र करते हुए विल्फ्रेड लोबों ने बताया कि उन्हें दो अंतरराष्ट्रीय अवार्ड मिल चुके हैं। विल्फी के मुताबिक वे इंडिया न्यूज में खुद नौकरी करने नहीं गए, न अप्लाई किया और न ही बायोडाटा भेजा बल्कि कार्तिकेय शर्मा के अनुरोध व आग्रह करने पर जुड़े।

विल्फी ने एमडी कार्तिकेय शर्मा को जो इस्तीफा भेजा, वो इस प्रकार है-

Dear Kartikji,

As discussed prior to your departure to europe about ending the relationship on a good note , I do agree that it is better for both of us, you are a gem of a person and you are hardworking too, I dont deny the fact that you have been very supportive to me but off lately, many things have happened whereby you are misled with wrong information about me, this has caused harm to my self respect and at times I have been insulted, never in my life I experienced such treatment, but I remained calm all because of you, I worked with my full heart honestly for all the 6 and half months, but in return I never got a day’s holiday or off , I put in more man hours than anyone else but then it was brickbats that I received.

Now after you left for europe things went to such an extent to which I got upset was In Subordination from my juniors that really put me off, this is all because of a few people whom you like to trust, I have narrated every thing to Vikram in the guest house on what’s going on and where are we heading to…, I feel sorry to say all this but you never trusted me , all the while you thought I was part of politics, which I was never and would not like to be, you will remember my words and this letter and then realise my efforts and hardwork put for India News.

One last thing to say you never lived upto your committment my salary was not given as promised which hurt me further, I was well off in mumbai, I was not jobless, but yet I joined you because of Anubhav and your good nature, your vision, but now all is gone in vain.

I feel cheated in this whole deal and also feel that I lost vaulable 6 months in the bargain…

We will always be friends if you choose to be, my nature will not change for whatever happened in the past, I have respect for you.

Kindly accept my resignation and clear my dues if you wish to, which amounts to one months salary atleast without a single leave.
