जिस जन लोकपाल विधेयक की मांग को लेकर अन्ना ने अनशन कर सरकार को झुकने को मजबूर कर दिया उसके पीछे दरअसल एक गुमनाम शख़्स की अहम भूमिका है. इस शख़्स का नाम है- शिवेंद्र सिंह चौहान. [ http://www.facebook.com/shivendraschauhan ] सोशल एक्टिविस्ट अरविंद केजरीवाल के सतत अभियानों को जन जन तक पहुंचाने का प्रयास असल में शिवेंद्र का ही है.
उल्लेखनीय है कि भ्रष्टाचार के आजिज आकर यह नाचीज कई महीनों तक ऑफ़िस नहीं गया और पीठ दर्द होने के बावजूद इंटरनेट पर दिन रात एक करके भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ एक आक्रामक 
दुःख की बात ये है कि मीडिया में इस शख्स की कोई चर्चा नहीं है. सारे लोग बस, सिर्फ ‘अन्ना-अन्ना’ की रट लगाए हुए हैं. इसे कहते हैं, बोए कोई और खाए कोई और…! भड़ास4मीडिया से मेरी विनती है कि आप इस सामग्री को प्रमुखता से प्रकाशित करें. जिन शिवेंद्र चौहान की चर्चा मैं कर रहा हूं वे नवभारत टाइम्स के लिए ब्लॉग भी लिखते हैं, जिसका लिंक http://blogs.navbharattimes.indiatimes.com/chhotisibaat है. मैं ये भी चाहुंगा कि आप भी इसकी एक एक प्रति प्रमुख टीवी चैनलों व टीवी पत्रकारों को देने का कष्ट करें. धन्यवाद.

Somebody just called to inform me about this. Thanks to the unknown friend who has written this letter and also to Bhadas4Media for publishing it. I respect your well-meaning and honest intentions but I would also like to put on record that in a movement like this, there is no personal glory to be had, this is what I practice and preach. Its the mission that matters and not the men behind it. A cause like this demands sacrifice, not recognition. To the uninitiated this just might look like a covert attempt (by me, through someone else) to get some footage out of it. This might also create unwanted rift with the team I am working with. I believe that hard work is its own reward and that is what I have done – put in my best effort. Arvind Kejriwal and others are the real architects of this movement and I am a mere mason. I would have asked the admin to delete the post but that will only publicise and complicate the matter. Just a humble request, please do not read much into it and let it rest here.
