राडिया टेप कांट्रोवर्सी अभी ठीक से शांत भी नहीं हुई कि एक नया मामला उजागर हो गया है. यह प्रकरण भी लाबिंग का जीता-जागता प्रमाण है. इस प्रकरण के चपेटे में शशि शेखर आए हैं. द संडे गार्जियन में छपी रिपोर्ट पर भरोसा करें तो हिंदुस्तान अखबार के एक रिपोर्टर ने अपने प्रधान संपादक शशि शेखर को पदमश्री टाइप एवार्ड दिए जाने के लिए आल इंडिया कांग्रेस कमेटी के मीडिया सेल के प्रभारी और वरिष्ठ कांग्रेसी नेता जनार्दन द्विवेदी से एक चिट्ठी राष्ट्रपति को लिखवाने में सफलता पाई है.
इस तरह की पैरवियों और रिकमेंडेशन से संभव है शशि शेखर मीडिया क्षेत्र में सेवाओं के लिए सरकारी एवार्ड पा जाएं. लेकिन यह बहस का विषय तो है ही कि आखिर पुरस्कार पाने के लिए संपादकों को लाबिंग कराने की जरूरत क्यों पड़ी और जब संपादकों के लिए नेता लाबिंग करेंगे तो क्या नेताओं के लिए संपादक लाबिंग नहीं करते होंगे. कायदे से देखा जाए तो यह प्रकरण भी राडिया टेप विवाद का एक्सटेंशन ही है. द संडे गार्जियन में प्रकाशित पूरी रिपोर्ट ये है….

shashi sekhar dunia ke sabse ghamandi patrakar hain, inki yogyata kam se kam hindustan ke group editor banne layak nahi hai. me jab inke sath kam karta tha to ye galat information hone par bhi sub-ordinates ko dabaya karte the, yakin maniye vo award pane ke liye 100% lobing kar rahe honge.main patrakar hone ke karan ashabhya bhasha ka use nahi karna chhahta. vastav mein to shashi sekhar behad ghatia aadmi hai. Garduan ke reporter ko bhadai.

मेरा मानना है कि शशि शेखर जी जैसे लोग ऐसा नहीं करेंगे । किसी युवा उत्साही पत्रकार ने ऐसा किया हो तो अलग बात है । जो लोग कीचड़ उछाल रहे हैं कृप्या शांत हो जाये। शशि जी जैसा व्यक्तित्व मेहनत और मेहनताने में यकीन करता हैं दलाली में नहीं ।
मीडिया में गंदग़ी है, लेकिन पाक साफ छवि के लोग भी हैं इस मत भूलिए।

Shashi Shekhar apne hit ke iye kuch bhi kara sakte hain. vastav me hindi media me dalali ke aviskarak shashi hi hain. hindustan me bhi vo jugad lagakar hi aaye hain.

It is not a new case of lobbying but it is no more a news for readers of Newspapers. As everyone know that now Govt. itself believe in lobbying and Dr. Manmohan Singh Govt. itself prevailing due to lobbying with the allaince partners. Now, Hindustan times & Dainik Hindustan not the brand of renounced Newspapers published for ‘Aam Admi’ but these two Newspapers are familiar as Advertisement Newspapers among the readers after the death of K.K.Birla Sahab.

It is just a case of the colonial hangover of the english press over the hindi press nobody asked question when barkha got award what was her contribution in journalism when she got the award she was just performing her duty which all reporters did why didnt deepak chourasia or punya prasun vajpayee get it they have contributed more than barkha its mindset of english press.Times Of India didnt even thougt the sad demise of Atul Maheshwari to be important but it reports a smalletst of attack on english reporter or demise of relatives of staff to be significant.Sashi Shekhar does not need their certificate abut journalism i think his work speaks for itself in this corporate journalism he would not be where he is if he was not an asset to organisation it is a simple piece of planted story to defame at the best if he had to lobby he would have done much earlier in his carrier.

Everything written in the newspapers is not necessarily true. The word ‘apparently’ is as dangerous as a naked electric wire…I wish the write-up quoted or added some authentic proof to prove its point…I dont know Shashi Shekar, he may have lobbyed fr the award…but there is also a possiblility that his rivals may have planted this story to defame him….utmost cautioned required while handeling such info…we as online publishers cant just hold someone guilty…we are not judges..lets know the truth first…regards

शशि जी कभी ऐसा नहीं कर सकते. इस दौर में भी हिंदी पत्रकारिता को नई उमंग और पहचान देने का काम किया है.वे एक महान और असली सरस्वती पुत्र है.उनकी लेखनी किसी पुरस्कार की मोहताज़ नहीं है.
