सहारा समूह के उर्दू अखबार रोजनामा राष्ट्रीय सहारा के ग्रुप एडिटर अर्जीज बर्नी पर देशद्रोह से संबंधित क्रिमिनल सूट फाइल कराने वाले वीवी जोशी अब सहारा समूह के खिलाफ प्रेस काउंसिल आफ इंडिया भी पहुंच गए हैं। उन्होंने मुंबई आतंकी हमले के मुद्दे पर राष्ट्रीय सहारा द्वारा लगातार देश विरोधी और पाकिस्तान समर्थक प्रोपेगंडा करने पर इस ग्रुप की लिखित शिकायत प्रेस काउंसिल से की है। वीवी जोशी ने पीसीआई से शिकायत की जांच कर राष्ट्रीय सहारा अखबार के खिलाफ कड़ी से कड़ी कार्रवाई करने का अनुरोध किया ताकि यह अखबार भविष्य में देश हित के साथ कोई खिलवाड़ न कर सके। सहारा के खिलाफ प्रेस काउंसिल के सचिव को भेजा गया पत्र इस प्रकार है-

About : Attracting attention of Press Council of India towards continuous anti-national and Pro-Pakistani reports regarding 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack Case……

Sir,
Since last years after Mumbai Terror Attack incidence Rojanama Rashtriya Sahara has been incessantly publishing reports of involvement Indian Security and Intelligence agencies in the attack.These claims are highly contradictory to the claims made by India’s External Affairs Ministry on various international platforms including United Nation’s Security Council.Indian Leaders including Prime Minister,Foreign Minister,Home Minister and Mumbai Police Officers are repeatedly stressing about Pakistani Militant outfit’s involvement in Mumbai attack but Rashtriya Sahara has been continuously publishing report of involvement of Mumbai Police officials,Military Intelligence, Intelligence Bureau and RAW’s hand in training Pakistani Militants for Mumbai attack so as to defame India Muslims.
For couple of times Pakistani Diplomats and Leaders has referred Sahara reports on international platforms for their benefits saying that even Indian newspapers are saying that not Pakistani outfits but Indian agencies are behind Mumbai attack.
Sir,these claims are highly anti-national and hampering reputation of Indian state on International level.Also violating ethics of Journalism and creating communal divide in Society.
Paper crossed all limits and ethics of journalism while referring to murder of former ATS chief and Mumbai Police’s decorated officer Late Hemant Karkare by arrested militant Ajmal Kasab.While referring Karkare’s death Sahara always said that Mumbai Police top brass with the help of Mumbai Police officers with criminal background and Indian Military Intelligence has planned and executed the murder of Hemant Karkare.In this case also various Indian leaders and ministers and Diplomats are saying on International platforms that Karkare has been shot dead by Kasab near Kama Hospital and interestingly Kasab also confessed that he has shot the Police officer. But Rojnama Rashtriya Sahara is not believing Ajmal Kasab’s confession while towing the stand taken by Pakistani Media.
For Rojanama Rashtriya Sahara what PAKISTANI media and Diplomats said is highly reliable but what Indian Diplomats and Leaders said is false, concoctions and not trustworthy.
For scores of times I had wrote to the Editor of the paper to seek clarification in this matter but for no reply from Editor’s side.
So Sir,I am hear by requesting you to inquire in to the matter thoroughly and take action against paper accordingly if circumstances demands so on following points,
- For weakening Indian stand on Mumbai terror attack case on international level while bolstering Pakistani position in same case.
- For paper’s anti-Indian and Pro-Pakistani stand,
- For paper’s irresponsible behavior,
- For violating ethics of journalism and spreading communal tension among Hindus and Muslims,
- For publishing unsubstantial reports on matters of National Interests,
- For attempting to cause harm to secular fabric of Nation and highly neutral Indian Media
So sir I am demanding quick and fair inquiry in to this matter and exemplary action against Sahara Publication.
