बतौर छायाकार काम करने के बावजूद प्रबंधन ने नहीं किया भुगतान, दीपक खन्ना और हरीश जुनेजा ने जागरण के हिसार के जीएम और स्थानीय मैनेजर व ब्यूरो चीफ को भी बनाया पार्टी
रोहतक, 3 सितंबर। शहर के दो फोटो जर्नलिस्ट्स ने दैनिक जागरण के सीईओ व संपादक संजय गुप्ता को लीगल नोटिस भेजा है। दरअसल जागरण प्रबंधन ने बतौर छायाकार काम करने के बावजूद दोनों का भुगतान नहीं किया। इस नोटिस के जरिए जल्द भुगतान की मांग की गई है। दोनों छायाकारों ने जागरण के हिसार के जीएम और रोहतक के स्थानीय मैनेजर व ब्यूरो चीफ को भी पार्टी बनाया है। दोनों छायाकारों की ओर से अलग-अलग नोटिस भेजे गए हैं।
पहला मामला फोटो जर्नलिस्ट्स दीपक खन्ना का है। वर्ष 2014 में पहली बार दैनिक जागरण के रोहतक स्थित स्थानीय मैनेजर बलराम शर्मा और बाद में स्थानीय ब्यूरो चीफ ओपी वशिष्ठ के जरिए कुल साढ़े चार माह तक बतौर छायाकार काम किया। उनके कई फोटो नाम सहित दैनिक जागरण में भी प्रकाशित हुए। इस दौरान बार-बार बलराम शर्मा व ओपी वशिष्ठ से भुगतान के बारे में कहा गया तो वे आश्वासन देते रहे।
बाद में किसी ओर छायाकार को फोटोग्राफर के तौर पर रख लिया, लेकिन भुगतान नहीं किया, जो कि 65 हजार रूपए बनता था। इस बारे में दैनिक जागरण के सीईओ संजय गुप्ता को भी ई मेल के जरिए सूचित किया गया। लेकिन उनकी ओर से कोई जवाब नहीं आया। ऐसे में दीपक खन्ना ने अपने वकील सुरेंद्र गुप्ता के जरिए सीईओ व संपादक संजय गुप्ता, सीनियर एडिटर विष्णु त्रिपाठी, हिसार के जीएम और रोहतक के स्थानीय जीएम बलराम शर्मा व ब्यूरो चीफ ओपी वशिष्ठ को नोटिस भेजकर भुगतान देने की मांग की है।
उधर, दूसरा मामला फोटो जर्नलिस्ट्स हरीश जुनेजा का है, जिन्होंने भी दो बार वर्ष 2012 और फिर वर्ष 2014 में दैनिक जागरण के रोहतक कार्यालय में छायाकार के तौर पर काम किया। उन्हें भी बार-बार आश्वासन मिला और भुगतान आज तक नहीं किया गया। जुनेजा ने भी वकील के जरिए उपरोक्त को नोटिस भेजा है।

Legal Notice / Demand notice for the payments due for Three months and Fifteen Days i.e amount of Rs.65000/- alongwith Interest and Compensation
Sir,
I, Surender Gupta, Advocate as an attorney and on behalf of my client Sh. Harish Kumar Photo Journlist R/o H.No. 532/10 Gopal Colony, Near Old Sadar Thana, Rohtak, do hereby serve you with the following notice:-
That my client is photo journalist and your officials appointed him in your organization after conducting interview and the interview was conducted by Sh. Mudit Chauttervedi (G.M), Sh. Ardesh Bachan (Editor Hissar Office), Sh. Balram Sharma, (Manager Dainik Jagran Rohtak) and Sh. O.P Vashisth (Bureau Chief, Dainik Jagran, Rohtak) and then my client worked for a period from 6 July 2012 to 31 August 2012 and secondly your officials again approached to my client and requested to work with Dainik Jagran Rohtak as a photo journalist and then again my client worked for a period from 20 January 2014 to 7 March 2014 as no other photo journalist is working in your organization during that period.
That on the request of your above named officials, my client gave his acceptance to work with your organization. For the payments it decided that monthly salary of Rs. 8000/- alongwith Rs.20/- per photo for the period from 6 July 2012 to 31 August 2012 and monthly salary of Rs. 12,500/- alongwith Rs.20/- per photo for the period from 20 January 2014 to 7 March 2014 was to be given to my client and proper assurance was given by your officials that duly intimation was given to offices at Noida and Hissar of Dainik Jagran and payment will be released on time. My client gave his best and did justice with his profession and provide best photographs to your News Paper during his working period.
That my clients worked with your organization for above said period and during the time of payments your officials gave assurance to my client but they were not releasing the payments of my clients. After taking services of my client for a period approximately 3½ months, all of a sudden your above named officials told my client they hired another photographer. When my client asked them to release his payments then they gave assurance that very soon the payments will be released. Since then my client is regularly contacting at your office at Rohtak personally, telephonically and sending e-mails on your officials mailing address and also to Sh. Sanjay Gupta, Sh. Vishnu Tripathi, Sh. Mudit Chauttervedi, Sh. Ardesh Bachan etc. but neither any proper reply was given to my client neither the payments was released for the above said period which comes out more than Rs. 60,000/- till date.
That it is a matter of regret that such a reputed organization is adopting a delay tactics with my clients in releasing the payments or your employees are adopting wrong intention by giving false assurance to my client. My client is enable to understand why you are lingering on the matter on one pretext or other. Due to which you are unnecessary harassing, humiliating my client and giving mental tension, financial loss and mental agony to my client. Till today my client made several requests to you for releasing the payments along with interest but you did not bother to pay the above said amount of my client. Such behavior of yours, destroying the working atmosphere.
That through this notice, I requests you to pay the payments of my client for an amount of Rs.60000/- alongwith interest @ 18% per annum along and compensation of Rs.50000/- (Harassment, humiliation, mental tension, financial loss and mental agony) with an amount of Rs. 5500/- as legal notice charges to my client within a period of 15 days from today otherwise my client will be at liberty to take shelter of courts and file case for recovery and initiate proper proceeding against you in a competent court of law and in that case you will be liable for all the expenses incurred therein.
