नई दिल्ली : हाल ही में लिम्का बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्डस में शामिल हुई वर्तिका नन्दा और विमला मेहरा की किताब तिनका तिनका तिहाड़ ने एक और रिकॉर्ड अपने नाम दर्ज कर लिया है। कुछ महीने पहले तिहाड़ की जेल नंबर 2 में शूट हुए इस गाने की अद्भुत वीडियो सीडी को लोक सभा अध्यक्ष ने संसद भवन में अपने कक्ष में रिलीज किया है। लोक सभा टीवी के सहयोग से बनी और वर्तिका नन्दा की लिखी और निर्देशित इस फिल्म की खासियत यह है कि यह देश का पहला ऐसा म्यूजिक वीडियो है जिसे जेल में ही शूट किया गया, जिसे गाया कैदियों ने ही है और परदे पर भी वही दिखाई दे रहे हैं। इस वीडियो को जनहित में बनाया गया है और इसका मकसद दुनिया भर के कैदियों को अपनी कला को उभारने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना है।

इस वीडियो में कैदी बेहद उत्साह के साथ झूमते-गाते हुए देखे जा सकते हैं। करीब 9 मिनट के इस गाने में जेल की कलात्मक छवि की झलकियां भी देखी जा सकती हैं। बेहद उच्च कोटि की तकनीक से शूट हुए इस गाने को संगीत संतोष राव ने दिया है।
“तिनका तिनका तिहाड़ है,तिनके का इतिहास है, तिनके का अहसास है, तिनके में भी आस है” – इन पंक्तियों के साथ तिहाड़ के चुनींदा महिला और पुरूष कैदियों की प्रस्तुति देश के मानवाधिकार, कानूनी प्रक्रियाओं और सामाजिक जकड़नों के बीच एक नए अध्याय की शुरूआत करेगी।
असल में तिनका तिनका तिहाड़ एक अनूठा प्रयोग है जिसे कई कड़ियों में बांटा गया। किताब के रूप में 2013 में तिनका तिनका तिहाड़ का राजकमल से हिंदी और अंग्रेजी में प्रकाशन हुआ था। इसमें तिहाड़ जेल की महिला कारागार नंबर 6 में कैद महिला कैदियों को कविता लेखन के लिए प्रेरित किया गया और बाद में चार महिला कैदियों की कविताओं का संकलन छापा गया। किताब के इसी अनूठेपन की वजह से इस किताब को हाल में लिम्का बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड्स में शामिल करने की घोषणा हुई। यह किताब इस साल के अंत तक 6 भारतीय भाषाओं में बाजार में आ जाएगी। बाद में तिहाड़ की प्रमुख दीवार पर देश का सबसे लंबा भित्ती चित्र भी बनाया गया जो देश की सबसे लंबी म्यूरल पेंटिंग है और इसकी थीम तिनका तिनका तिहाड़ की एक प्रमुख कविता है।
फिलहाल वर्तिका नन्दा और विमला मेहरा की टीम इस अनूठे गाने को दुनिया की अलग-अलग जेलों में भेजना चाहती है। इस वीडियो के प्रोड्यूसर लोक सभा टीवी से राकेश कुमार हैं। इस गाने की एक सीडी प्रधानमंत्री मोदी और अमरीका के राष्ट्रपति ओबामा को भी भेंट की जाएगी।

Tinka-Tinka Tihar, recently included in Limca Book of Records has another feather in its cap. A rare musical video shot at jail No-2 of Delhi’s Tihar jail a few months back, has been released by the Speaker of Lok Sabha Ms Sumitra Mahajan. The release took place in the chamber of the speaker of India’s lower house of Parliament in New Delhi.
TINKA TINKA TIHAR is an umbrella under which the book came first. Edited by Dr Vartika Nanda and Vimla Mehra, it is the first ever book which motivated women inmates to write poems. Later on, a song was written which has now been released in a proper video format. The video CD was made with cooperation of Lok Sabha TV. This is written and directed by Vartika Nanda. The video is produced by Rakesh Kumar. This video is also unique and first ever in the country for being completely shot in Jail premise, sung by inmates and acted by them as well. This video has been prepared for the public cause and aims to promote inmates world-over to show their art and skills.
The 9-minutes video shows inmates dancing and singing with joy and enthusiasm; also portrays glimpses of positives image of the jail. Its music has been given by Santosh Rao.
Tinka-tinka Tihar hai…Tinke Mein Bhi Aas Hai, sung by selected male and female inmates of Tihar will initiate a new chapter amid the complications of human rights, legal processes and social restrictions.
In fact, Tinka Tinka Tihar is a unique experiment divided into many parts. It was published as a book by Rajkamal Prakashan in 2013 in Hindi and English. It encouraged the female inmates of jail number 6 of Delhi’s Tihar jail to write poems and later on a compilation of the same by four inmates was published. For its uniqueness it was included in Limca Book of Records, a few days ago. Till the end of this year, this book will be published in six more languages of India. A theme based wall painting on the wall of Tihar was also done, related to one of the bests poems of this book itself, which eventually became longest of this kind in the country.
The writers want this book to be sent to different jails of the world; a CD of this will be sent to Prime Minister Modi and US President Barack Obama.
Dr Vartika Nanda heads the Department of Journalism at Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University. She has been pioneer in focusing issues related to women rights and crime against women and creating awareness in the media and various other platforms. She is the proud recipient of Stri-Shakti Puraskar-2013 on the occasion of International Women’s Day by Hon. President of India Sri Pranab Mukharjee. She was also awarded Rani Gaidinliu Zeliang Award for creating awareness on crime against women through media and literature. Prior to it, her book “Thee, Hoon Aur Rahungi(I was, I remain and I will…) has been widely discussed and proclaimed. She has also been awarded with Ladli Media Award and Bhartendu Harishchandra Award.
Vimla Mehra has been former DG of Delhi’s Tihar Jail, the largest jail in Asia. She is the second IPS officer of India and presently special police commissioner, Delhi Police. She also held designations such as Deputy Inspector General of CISF and Joint Commissioner, Special Branch, Delhi Police.
